You're some kind of wonderful
Hello. Playing in the
Freshly Made Sketch challenge today. I don’t know if the leaves are starting to
change where you are, but here in the PNW, they are due to a lack of water.
I used the smallest
leaf die in the TH skeleton leaves dies by Sizzix. I started with designer paper from craft
consortium and then added a bit of distress oxide inks to highlight them. The sentiment is from The Stamp Market. The dotted outline cover die is from MFT.
Thanks for stopping by.

It's the most wonderful time of the year
Used a snowflake embossing folder on the white panel to carry the snowflake theme on. The sentiment is computer generated and I added the white snowflake behind the sentiment just to be different. Card base is dark indigo.

snowflake wonder
These colors seem to be the "in" colors this season. I personally really like them. Anyway, the snowflake is a really old die from Sizzix that I had to figure out how to run through my new Platinum. The normal sandwich just wasn't working.
I used a pierced die to create the envelope like flap based on the sketch. It's popped up using foam tape.
Sentiment is from Verve stamps and studio G ink used to stamp it. It's a little soft but matches well. I'm thinking that maybe it should of been stamped in a color that stands out a bit more. What do you think?

Clean and Simple 303 - seriously
I used some molding paste and a stencil from The Crafters Workshop to get the texture on the back ground. Once dry I dusted it with gold mica powder to give it some sparkle.
The seriously die and the awesome sentiment are from Lil' Inker Designs. I used the fishtail banner die from MFT to cut out the "awesome" and then popped it up using foam tape.
The old Sizzix primitive star die is used to cut out three stars using a thin piece of chip board. I glued them all together and then added the gold mirror cardstock. This gave it a bit of depth and thickness which was easier to pop up on foam tape.
Thanks for popping in! Have a great weekend!

It's a boy
Sail boat is from Verve and colored with Copic's. I ended up do a bit of fussy cutting to get it to fit among the waves!
Waves are created using the cloud border die from Paper Smooches. I created the white caps using white craft ink and a sponge dauber.
The flag is cut from a Sizzix die and then layered in red. The sentiment is from PTI. To make the flag pole, I used a wooden coffee stir stix and got out the metallic rub-ons and used the gunmetal color to make it look sorta silver. Lastly, added some bakers twine for the rope!
I tired to keep this CAS and not clutter it up. Which could have been done easily with adding stuff for the sky. I think I like it as is - what do you think?
