Hello and welcome back to another sketch challenge over at Sunday Stamps.

First of all, the textured embossing folder is from Honey Bee stamps. The flowers are a stencil from Taylored Expressions, I used Simon Says Stamp saturated inks throughout.  I cut one of the stencil panels apart to fit the back layer in the back to make everything fit.  The sentiment is from Waffle Flower stamps.

Grill master

Hello. I'm playing in several Masculine theme challenges today.

Nothing like an apron full of Grill utensils to wish a guy a Happy Birthday.  Stamps and dies are from Honey Bee Stamps, except for the Happy Birthday - which is from Jaded Blossom.  Plaid designer paper is from Papertrey, Ink.

I made a hinge to connect two aprons together for this card.

Mixed media birthday card - SSC386

Hello and welcome back to another challenge over at Sunday Stamps.  I created this card sketch this go around, so I hope you join in on the challenge.

I smooched distress ink in Stormy sky to create the background.  The ledger stamp is from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous and it is stamped in hickory smoke archival ink.

The number stencil is from Gummiapan, and I used black embossing paste from Ranger (Tim H).  The other stamps on the front panel are from LDRS.  Sentiment is from Honey Bee Stamps.

Sending birthday wishes

Hello. Playing in a few challenges today with this card.

The flower dies are from Sizzix (Simon Hurley). I used up a few of my scraps in my stash box for the flowers.  Always nice to try to deplete that box! Sentiment is from The Ton and the Dragonfly die is a new one from Craft Addiction UK. I added a bit of sparkle to the wings with a glitter brush from Scrapbook.com.

I embossed the smaller stamp die cut using a 3D embossing folder from Honey Bee stamps. Love the texture it provides as a bit of dimension in the background.  Added a bit of jute string to it as well and ended up really liking how it framed up the sentiment.

Wishing you a beautiful day

Hello. The new sketch challenge over at The Paper Players caught my attention today, and I used it on this card.

My daffodils are almost ready to bloom (early in the PNW this year) and decided to use them as a focal point on this card.  The stamp is an old greenhouse society one from Technique Tuesday and I colored it with Olo markers.  The sentiment is from Honey Bee stamps.  The designer paper in the background is also from an older Fancy Pants 6 x 6 pad.

Sending paper hugs

Hello. I'm playing in a few challenges with this card today.

I smooched distress oxide and distress ink onto watercolor paper using a piece of acetate to create this dreamy background.  The white heat embossed script stamp is an old one from My Favorite Things.  The sentiment is from Honey Bee stamps.

I splattered some black paint before adding the dragonfly die cuts and their blue vellum shadows. Lastly, I added some dewdrops, which are hard to see unless you enlarge the photo.

With Sympathy

Hello. Playing in the Just add Ink #741 challenge of simple and elegant today.  I need to add a few sympathy cards to my stash, so I used this challenge as a starting point.

I cut out a long rectangle using a die onto a piece of cardstock and used it as a stencil for the background on this card.  The silhouette stamp is an old one from Papertrey, ink and stamped in versafine ink.  The sentiment is from Honey Bee stamps.  The stitched outline die is from My Favorite Things.

A little note

Hello. Here is a last-minute entry into this week's Freshly Made Sketch challenge

The mum flower die is from Honey Bee stamps. I cut it out using a creamy cardstock then blended ink from Pink Fresh (passion fruit, berrylicious, and candy apple) onto the individual petals and green ink for the leaf. The sentiment is an old $1 stamp from Studio G.

It's been warm and rainy here and this flower helped to brighten my day.  Thanks for stopping by.
