Let it snow - Fusion Challenge

Hello and Welcome to another Fusion Card Challenge, where you can use the sketch or the photo or both. Here is what I did with it.

I used a stencil to emboss the light grey cardstock in the background. Hopefully, you can see it. Cut out snowflakes (MFT) using silver mirror cardstock to resemble the circles in the sketch. Heat embossed the sentiment between the snowflakes.

Please check out the Design Team’s creations for this challenge, once again, they have knocked it out of the park.

Congrats! TSOT #534

Hello everyone. It’s time for a new sketch challenge over at Try Stamping On Tuesdays.

Here is the sketch for you to use as inspiration.

I needed a card for a friend who just had a grandbaby, so this sketched worked well for that. Stamps are from Simon Says Stamp and I paper pieced the onesie.  The designer paper is something that I have had in my stash since I started stamping. I have no idea who made it.

Season's Greetings

Hello - Playing in a new challenge over at Peace on Earth Christmas Challenge.

The tag was stamped with a very old Memory Box stamp set in gypsy blue pigment ink (sentiment too).  I also used the same ink to color the wooden snowflake embellishment that I picked up at Hobby Lobby.  The designer paper is also from Memory Box that I have been hoarding forever.

Stitched tag and sentiment dies are from MFT.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Birthday

Hello. Playing in the Freshly Made Sketch challenge today. I kept it very clean and simple for this birthday card.

Peony stamp and die is from Pink and Main. Colored with Copic's. The tiny birthday sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.

I added two sets of leaves using a punch from Martha Stewart Crafts to balance out the flower. My Favorite Things dot border die used on the top panel.

Thanks for stopping by.

Season's Greetings

Hi there. Playing in the Sunday Stamps weekly challenge today. It's a sketch that has a lot of possibilities.

The poinsettia dies are from Simon Says Stamp. I cut them out using Neenah classic crest cardstock and added some picked raspberry distress ink in the centers using a blending brush.

The plaid stencil is from The paper studio (Hobby Lobby) and made using the same distress ink. The pine dies are from Carta Bella and lastly, the sentiment (Hero Arts) is heat embossed using Ranger liquid platinum embossing powder.

Stitched die is from My Favorite Things. I did spritz this with shimmer spray which doesn't show up in the photo, but in real life, this sparkles.

Thanks for stopping in.

Christmas wishes

Hello! Here is a card I created using distress inks and a Penny Black stamp.

I smooched bundled sage and aged mahogany onto my craft mat, spritzed with water and picked it up with the stamp. Then stamped it onto watercolor paper on the smooth side. Then took a paint brush and filled it in here and there.

Added the sentiment and some gold pearls and layered it with the same colors of cardstock. I really like how it turned out. I also found that using red rubber stamps works best for this technique too.

Thanks for stopping by.

Little lamb

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is to use a border on your project.

I dug out my medium scalloped dies to use for this challenge. Lamb is colored with Copic's.

Warm winter wishes

Hello. Here is another card I created for the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog hop.

Center snowflake coffee mug is a digital stamp. Large snowflake die is from Trinity stamps. Embossing folder is from Sizzix.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cracked glass technique

Hello everyone. It's my turn to feature a project of the week and I'm doing a throw back to a cracked glass technique.

I think that this is the only time I really use my Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel too. LOL. I created this previously and dug it out of my stash to do a repeat on it for this month's POTW. I love how it turned out.

The branch is colored with markers first, then stamped onto cardstock. Added Versamark ink onto it using direct to paper with the ink pad. Then added UTEE. Did this three or four times and stuck it in the freezer. Yes, you read that right. I put this into the freezer for about 5 minutes. Then took it out and bent it to create the cracks. Inked over it with distress vintage photo ink.

This will stay in my stash until I need a masculine card, then I'll add a sentiment and send it on. Thanks and have a creative day!

CAS game #203 - Guest Designing for AAA cards

Hello. Today I'm guest designing for AAA cards and here is the cue card.

The leaf and the sentiment are from Papertrey, Ink. The inchie is popped up using a foam square.

This was a huge challenge for me as I don't normally do anything with "inchies" but after looking through all my stamps, I finally came up with this one.

Thanks for stopping by and good luck with the challenge.

I'm definitely going to need coffee for this

Hello. Playing in the 2021 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers blog hop today.

I believe the mug die was a freebie from Trinity stamps. It cuts out all the pieces so you can have loads of fun with patterned paper and piecing this together.

The sentiment I chose to use on this fit perfectly into the slats. Designer paper is from Gina K.
Sizzix 3D embossing folder used on the white panel. Copic maker used to color the ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by.

You're in my thoughts

Hello. Playing in the Addicted to CAS challenge of circle today.

Tree stamp is from Just for fun stamps. The sentiment is from WPlus9. I initially used a circle stencil to create the scene for a one layer card. However, I didn't like the sentiment I had stamped and it wasn't centered on the card base. I know, a little OCD of me but I just didn't like it. LOL. Saved the circle by cutting it out using two circle nesting dies from Spellbinders.

What do you think? Thanks for stopping by.
