Hello

Hello. Playing in the TGIF challenge of pocket full of posies today.

The envelope die is from Hero Arts (I believe). All the flower dies are from Concord &  9th. The small hello is from Altenew.  I used an old cuttlebug plaid embossing folder in the background for dimension.

Thanks for stopping by.

Flowery pair - SSC334

Hello and welcome to another challenge over at Sunday Stamps.  Here is what I made using the sketch or inspiration color prompt photo.

The flower stamp is from Unity. I colored it with Copic markers and used a small blending brush and soft yellow ink to create the glow around the flowers. Butterfly die is an old one from Memory Box.

So very happy for you

Hello. I'm playing in a few challenges with this clean and simple card today.

The flower dies are from Papertrey, Inc. I cut them out of white cardstock then ink blended over them using SSS pawsitively saturated ink in cheeky and blush.  White buttons are used for the centers of the flowers and I had to tie them with twine to get a cute bow for the centers on each.

The sentiment is from The Ton. The dot outline die is from a blueprints die collection from MFT stamps. Tiny dew drops from Memory Box finish this off.

Adding this to the following challenges.

Foiled birthday card

Hello - playing around with foiling today and the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches

After I foiled the peonies, I colored them with Copic markers. The Birthday sentiment is from Jaded Blossom and heat embossed in gold. I also turned the sketch on its side for a different look.

Thanks for stopping by.

Congrats - SSC333

Hello and welcome to another challenge over at Sunday Stamps.  Here is what I made using the sketch or inspiration color prompt photo.

I used the colors as a jumping-off point on the stencil from My Favorite Things. I masked off the sentiment panel using mint tape so that I could stamp the sentiment from Studio Calico.

Thanks

Hi everyone. Playing in the Freshly Made Sketch challenge today. There are so many possibilities with this one and I kept it pretty clean and simple.

The branch is an old rubber wood block stamp from Memory Box. I used Tombow markers to color on the stamp and huffed to get a clean stamped image. The sentiment is from Hampton Arts and the dsp is from Craft Consortium.

Ok - the little bee is from Picket Fence and I used shrink plastic and a mini pancake maker to create it.  I've got to tell you that the $10.00 mini pancake maker (Walmart) is the EASIEST WAY EVER to use shrink plastic.  It's also the quickest in my honest opinion.

Examples of the bees are shown above. So many possibilities. There are a few YouTube videos on this using embossing powders (Marion from Wow is one) and you should check them out.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy birthday to you - TSOT644

Hello and welcome to another sketch challenge at Try a Sketch on Tuesdays.  Here is the card I made and the sketch for you to use.

I used my Canon printer to print the music notes onto a piece of rice paper. Quite frankly, very surprised it worked, and so well. Then I added a bit of distress antique linen ink over it to give it an aged look.  The birthday sentiment is from Poppy stamps and it's stamped in hickory smoke archival ink. I used gray cardstock in two shades to match the music sheet colors on the panel in the sketch.
