Thinking of you

Hello. Playing in the CAS(e) this sketch challenge today. I turned the sketch so that the die cut sentiment would fit.

I used watercolor paper and oxide inks to create the colorful background. I used a grid background stamp from MFT and added on top using white unicorn pigment ink from Hero Arts.  Splashed and splattered some additional oxide ink around to finish it off.  Added the sentiment which is die cut several times and stacked up. Added some sparkle with a wink of stella pen.

Have a great weekend!

Coffee over everything

Hello and Welcome to another Fusion Card Challenge, where you can use the sketch or the photo or both. Here is what I did with it.

Used both sides again on this card. I will admit, that this is the second card I made for this challenge as the first one, just didn't do it for me. I love the coffee cup in the photo and I set out to imitate it. Used a die cut and a splatter stamp to get close.

Please check out the Design Team’s creations for this challenge, once again, they have knocked it out of the park.

Trick or treat!

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is the ever popular Anything Goes.

I used the candy corn stamp and randomly stamped it onto neenah solar white. Heat embossed with clear embossing powder, then colored with Copic's. Stamped a single one, fussy cut it out and popped it up for the center of the card.  Love the bit of dimension it adds.

There's a new challenge every week over at  The House That Stamps Built, and you don't have to use Repeat Impressions stamps to link up or win. Also, for my blog readers: Enjoy the 10% discount code to the Repeat Impressions Store posted on the sidebar.

Hello

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is the use the following graphic.

I created the scene using watercolor paper and Tombow markers. I did use the 4522-G, Calm Water stamp to create the ripples in the water. Fussy cut the seagull and popped him up on the corner. I hand drew the birds in the sky line.

Sending joyful wishes

Hello.  Playing in a couple of challenges today.

I started off with this weeks Freshly Made Sketch. Designer paper is from Craft Consortium - grunge dark tones. Stamped the snowflakes (Tim Holtz) in Hero Arts unicorn white ink and then embossed it with pearl embossing powder. In real life it looks wonderful.

I cut out the silver snowflakes using foil that I recycled from a yogurt container. Sentiment is from Impress cards and crafts. I did pop it up using foam tape.

Indigo blue cardstock is from PTI and the card base is Neenah solar white. Envelope is stamped with the same snowflake stamp set in unicorn white ink.

Gatefold Halloween card

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is the use the following graphic.

Add caption

I made a gatefold card, used black and white and dimension. The spiderwebs are done using a stencil on black cardstock and unicorn white pigment ink. Then cut to size and popped up with fun foam. The bats are stamped randomly around the Halloween sentiment and heat embossed for shine.

Sending hugs

Hello. Playing in the flower challenge of circles today.

The flower stamp is from Concord & 9th. I used Rubbernecker color fuse inks to stamp the flowers. Then used a stitched circle die to cut it out. The Hugs die and sending sentiment are from Papertrey, Ink as is the dark indigo cardstock.

Have a great day!

Just because - less is more

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is a designer choice challenge and Wendy wants to see "less is more."

I used the butterfly from the Moments quartet to make this. Colored with Copic's. I adjusted the sentiment to read "just because" and cut off the "I care" part. This can be found on plate 8600.

Feel better soon

Hi all - Playing in a couple of challenges today. Started off with the Freshly Made Sketch and used a tone on tone look using a stencil.

The stencil is one I picked up at Joann's from their Buttercream line. I used several blue inks from Rubbernecker's #8 color fuse line and a blender brush to create the tone-on-tone look.

Dark indigo cardstock, doily die and the sentiment are from Papertrey, Ink. Neenah solar white cardstock is used for the base of this 5 x 5 card.

Also entering this into the CAS mix it up challenge of tone-on-tone using a stencil.

Thanks for stopping by.
