Happy Birthday PP501

Hello. Playing in The Paper Players sketch challenge today.

Flower stamp is from W Plus 9 called watercolored anemones. Birthday greeting is from Simon Says Stamp. I used memento pink and Tombow green makers on the flower bunch and then spritzed with water and stamped it onto water color paper. The birthday sentiment is stamped in versafine ink, then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Pink and green cardstock is from my scrap stash. Self adhesive pearls are from Queen and Co.

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.

Thanks a melon

Hello and Welcome to another Fusion Card Challenge, where you can use the sketch or the photo or both. Here is what I did with it.

I went with the watermelon that you see in the photo and I followed the sketch.

The watermelon stamps are from Wildflower stamps who are no longer in business. The sentiment is from Sunny Studio. I used pigment ink from Fresh inks to stamp the watermelon bits with. I used a white gel pen to highlight the seeds.

Just Because - vintage bear

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is Anything Goes. Please join us!

Bear is stamped in Versafine, heat embossed then colored with Copic's. I went a little vintage girlie with this one and added a bunch of lacy things - doily and the lacy border die.

Let's celebrate

Hello. Playing in the Paper Players clean and simple challenge #500. Celebrate! Wow!!! 500 challenges is something to celebrate. Congrats!

Stamps are from Dee's Artsy Impressions/STAMPlorations. I masked off the star balloon and stamped the other two around it. Heat embossed with clear embossing powder so that I could color with Copic's. Added a bit of white gel pen to the blue and red balloons to highlight them.

Red polka dot paper is mostly likely from PTI and the mini bow was in a package I picked up at Michaels. This ended up being a top folding card using Neenah solar white 120 lb.

With Sympathy - ink lifting

Hello. Created this background a while ago using some lift ink off of a alcohol inked panel. Cut it up and used it for this weeks Freshly Made Sketch.

Above is the panel I lifted the ink from using the Natures Wonder stamp set from SA/Tim Holtz.  Sympathy sentiment is from Clearly Besotted.  I used a dark green cardstock from MFT to layer the panels on the card.

Thanks for stopping in. Take care.

Enjoy

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is the use the following graphic.

I created the watermelon from several die cuts. I used a circle to cut out the green and a piece of white cardstock. Colored with Copic's and then used a rain drop for the seeds. Added highlights using a white gel pen. Sentiment is stamped and heat embossed for shine.  Bow easy used to tie the gingham bow.

Birthday wishes

Hello. Playing in the Freshly Made Sketch #443 today. I created the back ground a while ago and it's just been sitting in my stash waiting for me to do something with it. I brushed on some collage medium onto a piece of 80 lb Neenah cardstock and let it dry. Then I spritzed on some mermaid lagoon oxide spray. I like how it splattered onto the paper, so I left it.

So, I ended up cutting it up to use for the back ground of this card sketch. It kind of reminded me of a splash of water as the dragonfly landed on it.

Dragonfly die is from Stampin Up! I cut out a piece of teal velum and added some wink of stella to it. Once it was dry, I stuck it onto the back of the silver dragonfly outline. Birthday sentiment is from Studio Katia.

I went with the mum style decorated cupcake in cream for my anniversary card.

Flower stamp is from Simon Says Stamp. The happy die and anniversary sentiment are from Mama Elephant. Gold cardstock is from Tim Holtz and I had the small gold pearls in my stash.

Thinking of you

Hello. Playing in the CAS(e) this sketch #379 today.

Flower stamps are from Concord & 9th. I used sky blue Fresh pigment ink from Impress to stamp the flowers onto Neenah solar white. Had to use a heat tool to dry it as it took forever to dry - par for the course with pigment inks. Used mini yellow pearls in the flower centers and doodlebug design sprinkles in blue for accents. The card base is black.

Also adding this into the SSS Wednesday challenge of Bright and Cheerful.

Thanks for stopping in.

Christmas in July challenge

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is designers choice. Patti's is the hostess and she wants to see Christmas.

I used an old provo craft die made for the cuttle bug way way back. It's so bent, it's pathetic looking. However, it still cuts just fine. As you can see, I popped them up using foam tape and placed a rhinestone in the middle. Sentiments are all from Repeat Impressions. Layered them with silver glitter paper.
