Thinking of you

Hey there. Playing in a few challenges today.  Started with the Fusion challenge and added in some stamp layering for the challenge over at Less is More and Addicted to CAS wants leaves.

Stamps are from Papertrey, Ink. I used dye inks from Hero Arts.

Sorry about the quality of my picture. My USB cord is no longer working for my little Nikon cool pix camera. I had to us my cell phone and the quality isn't as sharp. Thank goodness that I found a place to buy one.

 Thanks for stopping by!

From the two of us

Hello - I got a little coloring in today. This is a new stamp from Stamping Bella that I think is just darling. Put it to good use with the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. However, I changed up the direction to fit the image.

Colored with Copic's. Red and navy cardstock from Papetrey, Ink. The blue gingham is from an old 8 x 8 paper pack from Making Memories.

I highlighted the markings on his scarf with a white gel pen.

Adding this to Simon Says Stamp anything goes challenge too!

Anything goes over at The House!

Hello!

It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week it's the ever popular Anything Goes Challenge.

I used the candy corn stamp to create the back ground. The tag is done using Distress inks (just sponged them on) stamped the sentiment (tongue in cheek for all your candy lovers out there) and then heat embossed it in clear embossing powder several times.

So, what are you waiting for?!

Why not play along with us and start stamping up a card now. We can’t wait to see your creations!
Don’t forget… Take part in one weekly challenge or all of them. The more you play along, the more chances you have to win! Each submission enters you in the drawing for our gift certificate. And you don’t always have to use our stamps in your creations, but we will reward you if you do. Each submission using a
Repeat Impressions stamp will earn you an additional entry in the drawing!

Also, check out our Rock Star blogs to see what they did with the challenge.

Happy Halloween and thanks for stopping by!

Inspiration Photo challenge

wi there!

It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week we were challenged to use the following picture as inspiration.

I chose to go with the color palette on this cute little picture. That baby fox rear end is too cute, though. I picture him or her, taking a peak at something exciting going on, but not sure if they want to participate yet.

Mugs are stamped, colored with Copic markers and then cut out using my Scan N Cut.

Grabbed some dp out of my stash of papers to go behind them and then tied some twine down the side of the card to frame up the sentiment.

Just sitting here

Hello! This My Favorite Things sketch also caught my eye today.

Used the Polar Bear Pals stamps to create this. Stamped in versafine, heat embossed then color with Copics.  Sentiment is also heat embossed using detail fine white embossing powder. The grosgrain ribbon is colored with the same blue Copic marker that I used in his scarf.

Also entering this into Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge of thinking of you.

Thanks for stopping in.

Snowflake shaker

Hello. Playing in the sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches today.

I created the back ground using alcohol inks on Yupo paper. Once dried, I stamped the snowflake medley (MFT) using unicorn white ink from Hero Arts. Christmas sentiment is from Hero Arts. The snowflake medley stamp is from the Santa's elves set from MFT.

I also cut out a snowflake from clear acetate and colored it using the same alcohol ink. Added a small white one on top and then embellished with a clear rhinestone. Silver glitter washi paper from DCWV used in the back.

Fall thank you

Hello!

It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week is Designers Choice and we are challenged by Patti to create a "count your blessings" card. So any thank you, thanks, blessing, etc. will work.

I used the Oak leaf stamp and stamped it ink from Hero Arts in fall colors. Used my Scan N Cut to cut them out and fanned the into a little bouquet. The "Thank you" are dies from Sizzix. I used Stick It! adhesive on the darker brown cardstock before running it through my die cut machine. This stuff works so very well when adding die cuts onto cards. Love it.

Added a cute jute bow onto the leaf bouquet to finish off the card.

So, what are you waiting for?!

Watercolor thank you

Hello. Playing in the watercolor challenge over at Less is More.

Watercolor background is created using Ken Oliver's color bursts. The big thank you sentiment is from Concord & 9th. I stamped it in Versafine ink then heat embossed it in clear to give it some shine.

Layered it in black so that it would stand out and then resisted adding any embellishments. I wanted the colors to be the focal point.

Thanks for stopping by!
