Miss you

Hello. Playing in the sketch challenge over at The Paper Players today.

The galaxy background was created on black watercolor paper using pigment ink re-inkers from Fresh ink. I layered it onto some silver cardstock from TH Idea-ology.

The super cute space boy is from Gerda Steiner Designs and he is colored with Copic markers. I did pop him up using foam tape for dimension. I almost used a few action wobblers on him, but they really made him stick out and I didn't have a smaller version for the flag. But overall, I think it came out pretty cute.

Just because

Hello. Playing in a couple of challenges today.  I used the Freshly Made Sketch as a jumping-off point for this one.

The cherry blossom stamp is from the former Flourishes stamp company. I colored the flowers with Copic markers. The sentiment is from Papertrey, Ink.  I used the same Copic markers to color the white washi tape.

Adding this to the flower challenge over at CAS on Sunday challenge too.

Birthday blessings

Hello everyone. It’s time for a new sketch challenge over at Try Stamping On Tuesdays.

The secondary challenge/theme is stripes on this week's challenge.

I used simple stories designer paper to cut the balloons out and for the back panel. The white panel is embossed with an ef that has stripes down it. The sentiment is from MFT. Balloon dies are from Papertrey, Ink.

Here is the sketch for you to use as inspiration.

Get well soon

The Cherry blossom stamp is from the former Raisin Boat stamp company. I used TomBow markers on it and spritzed with water to get the watercolor look that the stamp is all about.  The get well sentiment is from Clearly Besotted.

Love

Hello everyone. It’s time for a new sketch challenge over at Try Stamping On Tuesdays.

The love sentiment die is from Honey Bee Stamps. Designer paper is from Authentique. The heart dies I have in my stash like, forever, and I believe they are from PTI.  The fishtail banner dies are from MFT.

Here is the sketch for you to use as inspiration.

It's TSOT's 12th anniversary on February 7th, so we thought we would celebrate by giving away some small gifts to two of our wonderful followers chosen by random draw. Please share your creativity for chances to win in Challenge #593 before it closes on February 15th!

We will be partnering with Double Trouble for this challenge.

I love you no matter what

Hi there. Playing in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge today. The theme is "love is in the air" and here is what I did with it.

The sentiment is from Scrapbook dot com and heat embossed in gold. I cut the flower heart out of red card stock using the die from Simon Says Stamp. I adhered it to a piece of cardstock that I had put some heavy double-stick tape on. I then burnished gold leaf from Nuvo into the cut-out flowers.

Gold cardstock from TH is taped to Neenah solar white 110 lb base to frame the gold heart.

Thank you

Hello. I was inspired by the mood board over at Beautiful Blossoms challenge today. Here is what I came up with.

The flower stencils, stamp, and die are from Pink Fresh Studio. I used speckled egg and uncharted mariner for the blues in the flowers. Ink for the leaves is from SSS in sage and aspen.

The thank you die-cut words are from Tim Holtz Sizzix. I cut them out three times, stacked them, and then added glossy accents to them. Which you can't really tell by the photo.  Stitched background die is form C9.

Here is the mood board - look at all those lovely blues!
