Wag more

Hello! Playing in the NBUS challenge today over at djkardkreations.

I've been away on business and came home to this set and inked it up for the never before used schtuff challenge. Stamps are from Studio Calico and stamped in Versafine ink. Kept this super clean and simple.

Added some enamel dots for a bit of interest and that is it!

Anything goes challenge - Happy Birthday treat box

It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week we were challenged with the popular Anything Goes.

I picked up this box die at Hobby Lobby and cut it out twice. Before assembling it, I randomly stamped the mum (10310-H, Mum Solid) in red raspberry in from Hero Arts. Added thee birthday sentiment in the center and then folded up the box. I used a Copic marker that was close in color to the ink and colored some white satin ribbon. Once dried, I used the Bow Easy to create the bow. Added some twine that matched in the back, as well. I'm filling this with some M&M's, I think to give away to a friend.

So, what are you waiting for?!

Why not play along with us and start stamping up a card now. We can’t wait to see your creations!
Don’t forget… Take part in one weekly challenge or all of them. The more you play along, the more chances you have to win! Each submission enters you in the drawing for our gift certificate. And you don’t always have to use our stamps in your creations, but we will reward you if you do. Each submission using a
Repeat Impressions stamp will earn you an additional entry in the drawing!

Also, check out our Rock Star blogs to see what they did with the challenge.

Because life's better buzzed

Hello! Playing in this weeks Freshly Made Sketch. Also adding this into the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

Coffee sentiment stamp is from Lil' Inker Designs. Coffee word die is from Sugar Pea Designs and the coffee cup die is from Paper Smooches.

I colored the coffee word die using a Copic marker. I doubled up on the coffee cup to pop it up and give it some dimension. Plaid designer paper, I believe is from Echo Park's Carta Bella line.

ETA: I forgot to enter this into the Wednesday SSS challenge of Pop it up.

Have a great weekend!

Inspiration Palette - Thinking of you

It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week we were challenged to create something using the following inspiration palette.

I smooched some distress oxide and regular distress inks onto a acrylic block then smashed them onto a piece of  watercolor paper. After I heat set it, I stamped the open leaf (10203-D, Leaf Cluster Outline) randomly across it and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. It's subtle but so cool in real life. I used brown as the card base.

CAS Happy Birthday

Hello! Playing in the Addicted to CAS challenge today. Code word is Florals.

Flower stamps are from Purple Onion Designs. I used markers to color these directly onto the stamps and huffed on them to reactivate the ink. Added some black dots for the flower centers and a bit of interest. Sentiment is from Papertrey, Ink, bigger blooms.

Black cardbase and rustic cream cardstock is also from PTI.
