Summer!

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is Anything goes!

I CASED this idea from echo park. They have a set of small dies that spells out summer using popsicles, and I thought it would be super fun to use Repeat Impressions popsicles in a similar way. Of course I had to add nuts and sprinkles into the mix. I masked off the popsicles and colored with Copic's. The small letter dies are from Tim Holtz Sizzix line.

There's a new challenge every week over at  The House That Stamps Built, and you don't have to use Repeat Impressions stamps to link up or win. Also, for my blog readers: Enjoy the 10% discount code to the Repeat Impressions Store posted on the sidebar.

One lucky person will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate on the first Wednesday of every month – Good luck!

Also, check out our Rock Star blogs to see what they did with the challenge.

Blue water colored flowers

Hello everyone. Playing in The Paper Players sketch challenge today. PP551

Used the new distress prize ribbon on the background strips. The flower stamp is (I believe) from Penny Black and I've had this water colored up and stuck in my stash for a while. Though it went well with the sketch and paired pretty closely with the new distress ink. Pearls are from Moda Scrap, and the thanks die was stacked three times for dimension.

Thanks for stopping in and have a great day.

Blue hydrangea

Hello and Welcome to another Fusion Card Challenge, where you can use the sketch or the photo or both. Here is what I did with it.

I went with the sketch and the blue hydrangeas in the photo. Stamp is from Ellen Hutson and is watercolored.  Used the same blue to do a quick wash in the background. The sentiment is from Honey Bee. Pearls are from Trinity stamps.

Please check out the Design Team’s creations for this challenge, once again, they have knocked it out of the park.

Christmas in July - Happy Holidays

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is Christmas in July.

I went with a tag and made is rustic. Isn't that moose fun? Pine bough die is from Carta Bella. I've also had these small snow covered pine cones in my stash for a while and put them to use on this. A bit of tartan ribbon tied off with black scrappers floss and were good.

Stenciled tags

Hello. Sharing a couple of tags that I created a while back when I previously did this technique for a project of the week. Hung on to them and decided it might be fun to rerun this technique again. All you need is a solid stamp, a stencil and ink or paint.

I used the solid tag stamp and stenciled directly onto it with ink, then stamped and cut it out. Layered them with navy blue cardstock. I also cut out a smaller tag for the sentiment. Navy satin ribbon and twine used for the tops.  The "eyelet" is actually a die that I used on the same navy cardstock.

Have a great day.

Sending best wishes

Hello. Playing in the Freshly Made Sketch today. After starting and stopping many times, this is my final result.

I used bundled sage and rustic wilderness oxide ink on this leaf stencil from The Crafters Workshop. Paired it with a sentiment from The Ton. The loopy die is from Gina Marie Designs. It's actually a slim line die that I pieced together.

I'm liking the clean and simple design of this. Thanks for stopping by.

Wishing you

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is anything goes with patterned paper and a stamped image. I cheated and used a sentiment.

You see, I've had this sentiment stamped up and cut out in my stash forever and really wanted to use it. It worked perfectly with this wonderful designer paper from Piatek Trynastego, called Hello Beautiful by Marta Piekarczyk. It is made in Poland and I got this from a LSS online.

Just a note to say...

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is to use a stencil on your project.

The stripes behind the vines are a stencil from MFT.  PTI pale peony ink and a blending brush were used before stamping the flowers. I used a Memento black marker to color in the flowers to create a silhouette.  Used a stitched rectangle die and added a sheet of fun foam, then added it to a card base in pale peony.

Sending hugs

Hello and welcome to another sketch challenge for Try Stamping On Tuesday.

This is a very old set from Simon Says Stamp. I stamped the flower directly onto the gingham cardstock as an experiment and ended up liking it. The border die is cut out of white cardstock then I took some yellow bakers twine and threaded it through the top eyelets. Gingham designer paper is from A*Muse Studio.

Thanks for stopping by - have a great day.

Christmas Ornament

Hello. Playing in the Addicted to CAS challenge of Christmas today.

Ornaments are from Memory Box. I cut out the snowflake overlay four times from 80 lb neenah white cardstock and glued them all together. Then adhered it to the gold solid mirror layer. I used gold decorative trim to tie the bow and add the string/holder.

Sentiment is from Jillian Vance and it's heat embossed with gold embossing powder. My favorite things dot blueprint die used on the panel, then used a piece of  4.25 x 5.5 foam tape from Scrapbook dot com to stick it to a top folding card base.

I really like how this came out, classy, clean and simple.

Have a great day.

Thinking of you

Hello. Playing in The Flower Challenge of spots or stripes today.

Flower dies are from Jaded Blossoms. I used distress ink to color them and then heat embossed with clear to give them some shine. That's is mesh behind the flowers that I purchased at the hardware store.  Stripes are done with a background stamp and rubbernecker fuse ink.

With sympathy

Hello. Playing in this weeks Freshly Made Sketch challenge.

Rubbernecker vine background stamp is used on the square in the back. Stamped with Basil fresh ink. Daisy dies are from Memory Box and the sentiment is from Papertrey, Ink.

Card is 4.5 square and I used gumdrop green cardstock from MFT for the leaves and to layer the vine panel. I tied on a little bow using some twine from PTI.

Thanks for dropping in. Have a good one.
