Frosty sunrise

Hello. It's my turn to do a project of the week and I'm doing another throw back project.

I love how this frosty sunrise turned out and thought it was good enough for a do over. I did spritz this with some Imagine sheer shimmer spray in sparkle, but of course it doesn't show up in the photo. In real life is sparkles really prettily.  The sunrise was created using distress oxide inks. I stamped the grass and tree in gray and white inks and highlighted it with white paint pen to give it that frosty look. I used a Copic multiliner pen to hand draw the birds in.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Ink blended snowflakes

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This month our challenge is Christmas and this week we our option is: To use one of your favorite techniques. I chose to do some ink blending and resist on this card.

I also used a cover die to cut this apart and put it back together again. The die is from Papetrey, Ink. Distress inks and blending brushed used for the background. I heat embossed the snowflakes so that they would resist the ink.

Have yourself a merry little Christmas

Hello. Playing in the Peace on Earth Christmas challenge today.

Stamps are from Tim Holtz. I used Tombow markers to color directly on the stamp, then spritxed with water to stamp onto the watercolor panel. The sentiment is heat embossed using gold embossing powder.

Kept this very clean and simple so that I could mass produce if I needed more. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you've finished all your holiday makes and got them in the mail. =)

Peace, love and joy

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This month our challenge is Christmas and this week's option is to use Words as the focal point.

Used mint cardstock and ink to make this clean and simple holiday card. I did heat emboss this and popped up the hole white layer onto fun foam so that it stood out even more.

Birthday wishes

Hello -
Playing in the Freshly Made Sketch challenge with this masculine card.

Tool 3D embossing folder is from Memory Box as is the plaid designer paper. Big birthday stamp is from Honey Bee and stamped in fresh pigment ink in capri blue to match the blue in the plaid.  The "wishes" is stamp from Memory Box.

I needed to restock my stash of masculine birthday cards and this sketch works really well for them.

Season's Greetings

Hello. Playing in the winter wonderland theme challenge over at The Paper Players.

I started with the tri-square wafer die from Simon Says Stamp and used it as a stencil with speckled egg and evergreen bough oxide inks. The little trees are then stamped in evergreen ink from Altenew. I have no idea who the maker is for those little trees, they've been in my stash since I started stamping.

I used a white gel pen to add snow and stamped the sentiment in gold ink from Altenew using the misti so I could get good coverage. I really like how it turned out.

Thanks for stopping by.

Poinsettia's and patterned paper

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This month we are focusing on Christmas and our option this week is to use patterned paper.

My patterned paper is from last year's Tim Holtz collection. I stamped the poinsettia's, colored with copic's and then fussy cut them out. Used the same marker on the seam binding for the tag.
