It's time for
another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge
is the ever popular Anything Goes.
Chose to do a card that is a little non-traditional in colors for the last of the Holiday cards. Poinsettia is colored with Copic makers and fussy cut out. Then I added some foam tape to pop it up for added dimension. Framed it using some shinny black cardstock.
One lucky person will win a $25

Photo Inspiration challenge
Hi everyone. It's time for
another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge
is the use the following graphic.
I went with a cream cardstock on this as I felt the photo was off white and would work better with the pine cone and pine branches.

Pine cone is colored with Copic's and fussy cut out. The pine branches are a die from Carta Bella. Kept this very clean and simple, like the photo.

Gnome matter what
Hello -
Sharing an interactive pop up card today for the Simon Say Stamp Wednesday challenge.
Gnomes are from Stamping Bella. Colored with Copic's and cut out with my Brother Scan N Cut.
I used the basic pop up die from the Cat's Pajamas to create the pop up effect inside the card.

I chose the bottom row across. I added glitter to my green embossing powder and embossed the trees onto vellum. Then I placed some glue behind the trees so that I could attach it to a white panel and not show through. In real life the trees really sparkle.

Warmest holiday wishes
Hello. Sharing a traditional Christmas card today for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge.
Stamps are from Stampin Up! I used cream cardstock from PTI for a change instead of the normal white. I stamped the mittens in versafine and heat embossed in clear embossing powder so that I could color with Copic's. I used a white gel pen to highlight the stripes on the mittens and added a tiny white pearl to the center of the snowflakes.
Added the black pearls for additional interest that matched the pattern in the mittens.

Fabulous Birthday
Hi all - Playing in a couple of challenges today. I started with the sketch from CAS(e) this sketch, but turned it on it's side. I also paired it with the Addicted to CAS code word Trees.
Background sunset and hills were created using Distress Oxide Inks. The tree border stamp is an old one from Memory Box. I stamped it in black and then traced the branches with a stardust gel pen. Sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.

Just Because
Hello. Playing in this weeks Freshly Made Sketch #414. Decided not to make a Holiday card. I mailed out all of mine yesterday, so I'm pretty much done with that. =)
Flower background stamp is from Impression Obsession. I stamped it in versamark onto a piece of watercolor paper, then heat embossed with Ranger White detail embossing powder. I used worn lipstick and scattered straw to create the colored background. I smooched both of them onto my glass mat, spritzed with water and dropped the stamped panel into it.
Added the Fabrika Decoru drops in jasmine to the flower centers. Just because vertical sentiment is from Savvy Stamps. Black strip was glued onto the left side - and this is a top folding card.

I used the poinsettia stamp as a background. It is heat embossed in white and then I colored with Arteza watercolor markers. Used the same stamp on the envelope, and I couldn't resist adding the flying Santa and his reindeer postoid.

Ice skating snowman
Hello. Playing in the theme challenge of Frosty the snowman over at The Paper Players today.
The stamp is from Whipper Snapper Designs. I stamped him in versafine and heat embossed it in clear embossing powder so that I could color using Copic's.
I used Seahawk colors on him and found some matching Christmas papers in my stash that went with it. I just cut the strips out of the striped paper to create the flags on the side. Added a matching snowflake and found some tiny self adhesive pearls to add to the centers of the snowflakes on the designer paper.

Project of the week - creating backgrounds
Hello. It's my turn to create a project of the week. I created my own pearlized background using the following stamp and supplies.
The sentiment is stamped onto a piece of white cardstock, then cut out with a long rectangle die. Then I used the snowflake punch and punched it in several areas. I used a piece of silver glitter cardstock to punch out three more snowflakes. That way I could layer them back in and add one more to balance it out. All are popped up using foam tape.
and here is the final design. So much fun and so pretty in real life.
Stamps used:
6004-M, Snow Positive
6116-M, Master Builder
Thanks for stopping by.
I used the snowflake positive stamp and stamped it randomly in versamark onto a piece of navy cardstock. To fill in the gaps, I used the versamark pen to add dots. The embossing powder I used was a blue pearl from Hero Arts. I really like how well it turned out on the navy. So pretty.

Ice skates
Hello. Playing in the CAS colours and sketches challenge today. I turned this one on it's side.
Skates are a die from Gina Marie Designs. The pine branch die is from Carta Bella and the berry branch, I have no idea who makes it. I used some thicker DMC red floss on the laces on the skates.
I used Distress Oxide inks in tumbled glass and faded jeans with a life changing brush on Bristol smoooth to create the soft background. Then I stenciled on some snowflakes with white home made stencil paste. I used Fabrika Decoru in poppy to add the berries onto the branches.
Sentiment is from Hero Arts.
Happy Thanksgiving!

I stamped the lantern in Versafine ink and heat embossed so that I could color it using Copic's. Once done I added some puffy paint and glitter to the highlight the snow. Tied a red ribbon using the Bow Easy, and stamped a tag with the sentiment. Turned out to be a classy little card. =)

Let's be merry
Hello! Here is my take on this weeks Freshly Made Sketch #412.
Gnome stamp is from Whipper Snapper Designs. Colored with Copic's and cut out using my Brother Scan N Cut.
Found some designer paper from Carta Bella (called cabin fever) in my stash of Christmas papers that worked awesomely in the background. Funny how the snowflakes almost match their hats. Sentiment is from Technique Tuesday.

Mint snowflakes
Hi all. Playing in a couple of challenges today. Started off using the sketch over at Sunday stamps and paired it up with The Card Concept inspiration photo.
I chose to do a clean and simple classy card. I was inspired by the cool mint teal color and got out a copic marker that closely matched the photo. I colored sections of a piece of Neenah solar white cardstock and cut out the snowflakes and the back ground circle. As you can see I decided to emboss the white circle with a snowflake embossing folder.
I added clear glitter to the snowflakes. Did a bit of matching color splatters in the background and called it good.
