Be like the bee...

Hello. Playing in the CAS colours and sketches challenge today.

Stamps are from Picket Fence and the designer paper is from Moda Scrap.  Bee's are colored with copic's and I used spectrum Noir sparkle on the wings.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hello

Hello and Welcome to another Fusion Card Challenge, where you can use the sketch or the photo or both. Here is what I did with it.

I went with the sketch on this Fusion challenge. I stamped a few background stamps randomly in versafine and heat embossed them in white. The plaid is from The Ton and the script is from Darkroom Door. To create the color wash, I used tumbled glass, speckled egg and antique linen and did a bit of smooching and layering until I was happy with the results.  The plaid embossing folder from Spellbinders was used on the tag. The hello die is three layers thick so that it stands out a bit.

Please check out the Design Team’s creations for this challenge, once again, they have knocked it out of the park.

Feel better

Happy Tuesday and welcome to another sketch from Try Stamping on Tuesday.

I used the eucalyptus die's from Simon Says Stamp to cut out a piece of fun foam - which in turn became my home made stamp for this card.  Stayed with the green color theme using dark green cardstock for the base and the rectangle panel in the back. The polka dot paper has been in my stash for a long time and I believe it might be from Memory Box.  Used a stylus and Farika Decoru drops to create the dots that are scattered about.

I like how this came out, it could be used for either sex, which is always a good thing to have at the ready.   Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Just because - sentiment as a highlight challenge

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is use a sentiment as a highlight.

Did a watercolor wash over the flower vine stamp that I had heat embossed in white. Added that onto a stitched layer, which is the popped up using fun foam to give it a bit of dimension. Flower centers are done using a stylus and Fabrika Decoru.

Another 2fer on leaves

Hello. At heart, I really love leaves during any season. They can be left alone or paired with a flower and bottom line, they just work.  So, with that in mind, I decided to play again in the Twofer leaves challenge.

Leaf stamps and the thank you sentiment are from Concord & 9th. I used different colored inks from Rubbernecker's Fuse ink line to stamp them in.  Get well sentiment on the first card is from Frantic stamper.

Ribbon from PTI and dug out some big eyelets from We R memory keepers and used them on the get well card along with some twine. Burlap is from DCWV, green gingham paper is from A Muse Studio.

Thanks for stopping by - have a wonderful day!

Thinking of you

Hello and Welcome to another Fusion Card Challenge, where you can use the sketch or the photo or both. Here is what I did with it.

Poppy stamp is from Stampin Up! I used Hero Arts royal red mini ink pad to color the flower, and a marker to do the stem. Sentiment is from Papertrey, Ink, which is heat embossed in white.  I was inspired by the color of the watering can to use the gray as the card base. The rounded squares are a die from Simon Says Stamp - which I also used to emboss the lighter gray layer of cardstock.

Please check out the Design Team’s creations for this challenge, once again, they have knocked it out of the park.

Distress oxide ink in tumbled glass used for the sky, Flamingo Kitch on the flowers and twisted citron for the leaves. The arched tag die is and old one from My Favorite Things.

You rock my world

Hello. Playing in this weeks Freshly Made Sketch #480 challenge.

The heart beat border die is an old one from Paper Smooches. The "you" and the rock my world sentiment are from Simon Says Stamp.

The background has been sitting in my unused card bits for a while. It's yupo paper and alcohol inks through a stencil.  The doily stencil has a heart in the middle, so I thought it go good fit right in with the heart beat die and sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Birthday wishes

Hello. Playing in The Flower Challenge of pastels today.

Flower stencil and dies are from Pink Fresh. I used Rubbernecker fuse ink and a blender brush to apply the color. Sentiment is from Technique Tuesday.

Have a great weekend.

Happy Anniversary

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is a Designer Choice Challenge. Patti is the designer who wants to see Anniversary cards.

Rose is colored with Copic's. Sentiment dies are from Technique Tuesday.  I used the square frame die from Honey Bee to create the frame. You can find the rose stamp here - which I edited to use on this card.

Slimline bold birthday card

Hello. I made this slimline card a while ago, then added to it to take part in the Sunday Stamps weekly challenge today.

I used antique linen and speckled egg distress oxide inks to create the background. I also snuck in some grid stamping too. The birthday sentiment is done using The Ton's birthday dies. I used them as a stencil with Versamark ink and speckled egg embossing glaze.

Outside slimline loopy rectangle die is from Gina Marie Designs.

Thanks for stopping by.
