To you.from me.with love.

Hello. Playing in this weeks Freshly Made Sketch.

I'm in the middle of trying to get my house on the market and have packed up a lot of my craft supplies to de-clutter. (can you just image?) any who, here is my clean and simple take on this weeks sketch.

The butterfly die is from Memory Box (colored with Copic's) and that wonderful sentiment is from Papertrey, Ink., The square panel is designer paper I got from my LSS.

It's gonna be another very hot day in Washington State, we don't get many days in the mid to upper 90's, so we are sweltering. Thank goodness for our portable air conditioning so we can sleep at night.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping in.

Congratulations

Hello. Playing in a few challenges today. Over at TGIF it's all about the heat - heat embossing that is.

I did the stained glass technique that JM showed off a while ago. Love this technique. The silver top layer and the sentiment was heat embossed using Hero Arts embossing powder. The die is from Penny Black.

I sent this out to my Administrative Assistant for her 25 year anniversary with our company. She's amazing and loves dragonflies.

I'm also entering this into SSS anything goes challenge this week.

Thanks for stopping by.

Anything goes - over the hill birthday balloons

Hello. It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week is our popular Anything Goes challenge.

I used the new Versafine Clair ink to stamp the black balloons. Love this ink as it gives outstanding coverage. Hand drew some strings, cut a bow from a MFT die and stuck it on with some strong adhesive. The black and white designer paper is from MFT. I used a white gel pen to add the highlights in the balloons.

So, what are you waiting for?!

Why not play along with us and start stamping up a card now. We can’t wait to see your creations!
Don’t forget… Take part in any of our challenges, the more you play along, the more chances you have to win! Each submission enters you in the drawing for our gift certificate. And you don’t always have to use our stamps in your creations, but we will reward you if you do. Each submission using a Repeat Impressions stamp will earn you an additional entry in the drawing!

Also, check out our Rock Star blogs to see what they did with the challenge.

Petunias

Hello. Playing in The Paper Players challenge today. It's use a negative space on your card and here is what I came up with.

Petunia stamp  and dies are from Pretty Pink Posh. Colored with Copic's and added the white spots/dots using a white gelly roll pen. The "thanks" die is cut out three times and stack to make it stand out more. I cut down the petunia layer so that I could pop it up using fun foam onto a white top folding card.

Thanks for stopping by.

inspiration photo challenge

Hello, It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week we were challenged to use the photo below to create your project.

I used the colors. First I stamped the floral background stamp in versamark, then heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Then using distress oxide inks on my craft mat, picked up the colors with a paint brush. Some of them are off a bit but I got as close as I could to the photo. Letter dies are from The Ton.

CAS Watercolor background

Hello. Playing in the Just Us Girls watercolor background challenge today.

I stamped the background stamp (Impression Obsession) onto watercolor paper and then heat embossed with white embossing powder. Using Hero Arts deep ocean liquid water color, I added drops onto it by using a brush. I spritz the wc paper thoroughly so that when I added the color, it spread and ran.

Thank you dies are from The Ton.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

I pledge - TTT challenge

It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week we were challenged to use the following Tic-Tac-Toe board to create with.

Can you believe it? I actually did a fun fold! To get the colors on this stamp I had to use a sponge dauber, so I took a little liberties (no pun intended) on the grid. Designer paper is from Lasting Impressions.

So, what are you waiting for?!

Red, white and blue birthday balloons

Hello and Happy Independence Day to all of us in the US.  Playing in two challenges today.  The theme over at The Paper Players in Celebration and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge is Red, White and Blue.

Balloon stencil is from Neat and Tangled. I used Hero Arts ink to sponge in the colors using a finger dauber. The strips and star stamps are from PTI, and I heat embossed with white embossing powder. Outlined the balloons using a Copic multi-liner pen for them to stand out a bit more. Birthday sentiment is from Frantic Stamper.

Happy 4th!

The great outdoors

It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week it's a designer choice challenge and Heather wanted us to do something for the "great outdoors."

I went with some tongue and cheek humor on this. It was hard to get a good picture where the sentiment stands, but it reads "wishing you safe and happy adventures."
