Jolly wishes - TSOT700

Hello and welcome back to another Christmas in July sketch over at Try a Sketch on Tuesday.

The background snowflake stamp is from Rubbernecker stamps. I stamped it in white and then heat embossed it in fine white detail embossing powder.  I drew lines with a white gel pen per the sketch.

The snowflake is a die from Trinity Stamps, and the wonderful Santa and sentiment is from Avery Elle.  He is colored with Copic Markers.

CAS - Happy Birthday

Hello. I'm playing in three challenged today with the following card.

I started off with the sketch over at Just Add Ink.  Then worked in some heat embossing, red and kept it clean and simple for the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge. Also adding it into the double trouble challenge

The flower stamp and die is from Altenew. I used Olo markers to color it.  The round die in the back is from Craft Addiction UK and the birthday sentiment is an off brand from Amazon that Crissy Stokes recommended.

Thanks for stopping by.

Have a wonderful day - TSOT#694

Hi and welcome back to another sketch challenge over at Try a Sketch on Tuesday.

I went with a subtle take on the designer paper using a sky/cloud piece from the Craft Consortium.  The flower dies are from Gummiapan.  I used a bit of silver embossing powder around the holes in the flowers to give it a bit more dimension and interest.  Sentiment is from The Ton and the stitched cover die is from My Favorite Things.

Thanks for stopping by!

Believe in yourself

Hello. Playing with the latest sketch challenge over at The Paper Players today.

I used items from Simon Says Stamp A little artsy Card Kit. The sentiment is also from Simon but out of the Artful Pallet kit.

I did add a strip of Tim Holtz black cardstock along the side of the designer paper out of the kit.  I like how it defined the paper. The daisy is colored using SSS ink with a blending brush using the stencil that came in the kit.  Lastly, I added a few paint splatters.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hello. I'm playing in the Tic Tac Toe challenge today with this tag.  It covers the left and rows of the TTT grid.

I stamped the background leaf stamp and heat embossed it in white.  Then used watercolors to bring out some of the leaves.  The thanks sentiment is from Spellbinders.  I used a bit of black twine to wrap around the tag and to tie off the green ribbon at the top.

Thanks for stopping in.

Merry Christmas - SSC368

Hello. Welcome back to another sketch challenge over at Sunday Stamps.

The Merry Christmas sentiment is from Michael's brand of wood block stamps. I got it in their Christmas section several years ago. I stamped it in Versamark and heat embossed it with gold to match the strip of gold mirror cardstock on the left.

The sprig die cuts are made from several companies' dies.  Echo Park, Simon Says Stamp, Carta Bella, etc.  I did add some self-adhesive white pearls to resemble berries on the branch.

Thanks for stopping by.

You're one in a melon

Hello.  I'm playing in the Just Us Girls die challenge today.  They are looking for summer things
in your stamps and dies.  Here is what I came up with.

The watermelon stamp and dies are from Sunny Studio. I stamped them in black Versafine ink and then heat embossed, so that I could color them with Copic markers.

The sentiment is from Memory Box.  I dug through all my cardstock and came up with colors that matched the watermelons and used them for layering and the fishtail banners.

The stitched dot dies are from Jillian Vance Designs.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sending paper hugs

Hello. I'm playing in a few challenges with this card today.

I smooched distress oxide and distress ink onto watercolor paper using a piece of acetate to create this dreamy background.  The white heat embossed script stamp is an old one from My Favorite Things.  The sentiment is from Honey Bee stamps.

I splattered some black paint before adding the dragonfly die cuts and their blue vellum shadows. Lastly, I added some dewdrops, which are hard to see unless you enlarge the photo.

This card is for the following challenges:

Happy Bee-Day

Hello. I'm playing in the sketch challenge over at The Paper Players today.

I recently picked up a new set of clear stamps at Michaels (their Recollections line) that mostly featured bugs. I was drawn to the bee and dragonfly in the set. Anywho, here is the bee stamped and embossed so that I could color it with Copics. I fussy-cut it out and popped it up on top of the honeycomb with foam tape.

The designer paper is from Moda Scrap, and the sentiment is from Woodware.

Thanks for popping in to take a look.
