Thank you, squared

Hello. Playing in the CASology cue card this week of Square.

Stamps are from Concord & 9th. I used Hero Arts Navy ink on the huge Thank You sentiment.  Flowers are also stamped in HA ink. I did use my Stampoholic nano to stamp the large sentiment so that I could get really good coverage of ink. Overall, kept this one very clean and simple.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

This bud's for you

It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week we were challenged to use the following sketch.

All stamps can be found a the Repeat Impressions web site. These stamps were part of a unmounted set. I colored the beer using Copic markers. The foam is done by heating Tulip puffy paint. Black enamel dots are done using Fabrika Decoru. I cut the beer mug out using my Brother Scan N Cut, but had to do the inside of the handle by hand.

So, what are you waiting for?!

Why not play along with us and start stamping up a card now. We can’t wait to see your creations!
Don’t forget… Take part in one weekly challenge or all of them. The more you play along, the more chances you have to win! Each submission enters you in the drawing for our gift certificate. And you don’t always have to use our stamps in your creations, but we will reward you if you do. Each submission using a
Repeat Impressions stamp will earn you an additional entry in the drawing!

A note to say hello

Hi everyone. Here is a quick card I put together for the Add a sentiment challenge over at Simon Says Stamp.

It's a bit girlie. Flower and leaf stamps are from Stamplorations. I used pigment inks from Fresh Ink to create the wreath. I did draw a circle using a circle die and a very soft pencil so that I could stay centered and all. Sentiments are from Wplus9.

Fabrrka Decoru is used for the centers of the flowers. I just love this stuff, comes in so many colors, textures and you can get it over at Kat Scrappiness. Link on side bar.

Stay safe and enjoy the big solar eclipse tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by.

stay cool

Hello.  Playing in a few challenges today.  Started off using this weeks Freshly Made Sketch.

The sketch looked to me like a jeans pocket, so that is what I went with. Of course, I had to distress it.  I started with some navy white core cardstock from DCWV and then used a small skinny oval die from My favorite Things to cut the holes. Then scratched it up with a sanding block and distressed the edges. Also used a dot border die on the edges and then went over it with a white gel pen.

The felt flowers were from my stash that I got from Ribbons and bow oh my, ages ago. They're kind of teenage girlie so that works for the TGIF Challenge.

The stay cool sentiment stamp is from Studio G. I used a strip of silver glitter washi tape and a small heart die to cut out hearts and added them onto the pocket to add some bling.

That it for now, thanks for stopping in.
