Happy Birthday - SSC360

Welcome to another challenge over at Sunday Stamps. This time around we have a color inspiration board for you.

The sailboat dies are from the former Paper Smooches.  I also used an old Provo Craft embossing folder to create the waves and ink blended over it.  The tiny birthday sentiment is from The Paper Studio.

This is a fun color combo to work with. I can't wait to see what folks come up with. Link up here

You rock my world

Hello. Playing in this weeks Freshly Made Sketch #480 challenge.

The heart beat border die is an old one from Paper Smooches. The "you" and the rock my world sentiment are from Simon Says Stamp.

The background has been sitting in my unused card bits for a while. It's yupo paper and alcohol inks through a stencil.  The doily stencil has a heart in the middle, so I thought it go good fit right in with the heart beat die and sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

just waving hello

Hi there. Playing in the CASe this sketch challenge today.

Paint stripe stamp is from Paper Smooches called positive strokes 2. The boy and girl and the sentiment are from Waffle Flower.  I used pigment ink from Fresh Ink to stamp the paint stripes in.

Thought this was a fun card in these trying times, however, they are not practicing the 6 foot rule, but cute never the less.

Stay safe out there and thanks for stopping by.

February Tic-Tac-Toe challenge

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is the use the following graphic.

I used stenciling, shimmer and watercolors. It's hard to see the shimmer in the photo, but the back ground is pretty sparkly. Stencil is from Paper Smooches. I created the background using distress oxide inks and a lot of water. Then spritzed with shimmer mist. I also added some black splatters.

There's a new challenge every week over at  The House That Stamps Built, and you don't have to use Repeat Impressions stamps to link up or win. Also, for my blog readers: Enjoy the 10% discount code to the Repeat Impressions Store posted on the sidebar.

Adulting is hard

Hello. Another card for the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. Loving this sentiment, which is from Technique Tuesday.

I believe the coffee cup die I used here is from Paper Smooches. My craft room is still such a disaster area I can't find anything. Nothing like starting over from a move to help you clean up your stash!

Have a great day!

Turn that frown

Hello. I finally got a chance this evening to put together a card for this weeks Freshly Made Sketch.

Used Ranger Distress Oxide inks, water and some glossy cardstock to create the background. That wonderful border die is from Paper Smooches and fit right in for "waves" for my fish. He's from Avery Elle and is colored with Copic's.

Have a great weekend.

Hearts

Hello. Playing in several challenges today.  I started off with this weeks Sunday Stamps sketch, paired it with the color challenge over at The Paper Players and then made two for the twofer challenge.

I used an older set from PrintWorks, which doesn't seem to be on their site any longer. The heart with the dot above it and the love is from the set.  That is white scrappers floss that is used to tie that bow. Stitched heart is from Paper Smooches and the bigger heart die is from MFT. I did use the heart 3D embossing folder on the white panel, you can see it on top but it's not all that clear at the bottom. Night shadows were really hard to edit out this evening.

The row of mini hearts is actually a die. I used a ruler to draw lines as a guide to get it straight. The die has 9 little hearts, so I had to cut it out four times. I did go rouge and left one white heart in on purpose. I have no idea who make this die, and I'm quite positive it's part of a bigger set.  The "thanks" is cut out three times, glued together and then I added a bit of shine to it. In real life it looks pretty cool!

Thanks for stopping in....

Because life's better buzzed

Hello! Playing in this weeks Freshly Made Sketch. Also adding this into the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

Coffee sentiment stamp is from Lil' Inker Designs. Coffee word die is from Sugar Pea Designs and the coffee cup die is from Paper Smooches.

I colored the coffee word die using a Copic marker. I doubled up on the coffee cup to pop it up and give it some dimension. Plaid designer paper, I believe is from Echo Park's Carta Bella line.

ETA: I forgot to enter this into the Wednesday SSS challenge of Pop it up.

Have a great weekend!
