You rock my world

Hello. Playing in this weeks Freshly Made Sketch #480 challenge.

The heart beat border die is an old one from Paper Smooches. The "you" and the rock my world sentiment are from Simon Says Stamp.

The background has been sitting in my unused card bits for a while. It's yupo paper and alcohol inks through a stencil.  The doily stencil has a heart in the middle, so I thought it go good fit right in with the heart beat die and sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

you are simply amazing

Hello - I was playing around with yupo paper and alcohol ink and came up with this back ground that I turned into this card.

I added some silver foil to it as well. In real life it really makes it pop. I followed the sketch over at CAS(e) this sketch to create this card. Sentiment is from Reverse Confetti.

Holiday Blessings

Hello. Playing in the Freshly Made Sketches challenge today. The background I created was CASed from a video that Memory box did for their new Holiday release.

It's done using Yupo paper, alcohol inks and plastic wrap.  Fun technique.

I combined two of the new holiday Memory Box dies to create this. The outside is from the holiday lamp post frame die and the inner circle is from the pinpoint snowflake circle frame die. Sentiment is from Papertrey, Ink.

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Thanks for everything

Hello. Playing in the Freshly Made Sketch challenge today.

I had this background done up and in my "box" to make into cards, and decided to use it for this weeks sketch. It's done on Yupo paper with alcohol inks.

Thanks stamps and dies are from Simon Says Stamp. Pink, blue and black cardstock is from PTI and the white is Neenah solar white in 120lb.

It's raining here today after several days of very beautiful sunny springy weather. Good time to stay indoors and craft. Thanks for stopping by.

Condolences

Hello. Playing in the Freshly Made Sketch challenge today.

I just picked up this Penny Black leaf die that was discounted at one of my local craft stores. I used alcohol inks on yupo paper to create the color variations.

Background panels are done using a leaf background stamp and heat embossing it with clear embossing powder. I wanted to keep the leaf die as the primary focal point, but still add a bit of interest on the skinny panels.

The sentiment is from Sweet Stamp Shop. I kept this very clean and simple and kind of masculine, which is hard for a sympathy card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Flowery heart

Hello. I bought this fabulous heart cut out die from Simon Says Stamp a while ago and have never really used it before now.

I played around with some alcohol inks on Yupo paper and used that in the background to peek out behind the flower cut outs in the heart. Added some Fabrika Decoru yellow for the centers on some of the flowers. Kept it pretty clean and simple and let the designs take center stage.

Playing in the SSS Wednesday challenge of It must be love with this one.

Snowflake shaker

Hello. Playing in the sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches today.

I created the back ground using alcohol inks on Yupo paper. Once dried, I stamped the snowflake medley (MFT) using unicorn white ink from Hero Arts. Christmas sentiment is from Hero Arts. The snowflake medley stamp is from the Santa's elves set from MFT.

I also cut out a snowflake from clear acetate and colored it using the same alcohol ink. Added a small white one on top and then embellished with a clear rhinestone. Silver glitter washi paper from DCWV used in the back.

Thanks for stopping by!

You're the best

Hey there. Here is my take on several challenges today.  I started with the Tag You're it Challenge over at Simon Says Stamp and then added the color teal (Less is More) and some Geometric shapes for Just Us Girls.

Tag and sentiment die is from Mama Elephant.

I used some Yupo paper and created the teal back ground using alcohol inks and bit of bubble wrap. The cool diamond distressed die is from Memory Box.

I used a bit of black to layer the tag and add the bow at the top so that it would stand out a bit more. It sort of got lost without it on the white card base.

Sentiment is from Hero Arts. I bent the clear mount stamp to try and fit it into the die as best I could. It took a few tries using the Stampoholic, but I finally got one to work.

That's all for now, thanks for stopping by.

Leaf vine

Hello. Here is my take on this weeks Freshly Made Sketch.

Playing around with alcohol inks today.

I started out with a piece of Yupo paper and added some green alcohol inks to it. I smeared it around and played a bit then let it dry. Stamped the leaf vine back ground stamp using Archival ink and let it dry.

Then I cut it up and layered it with some black cardstock. Thank you sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.

That's it for now, thanks for stopping by.
