Hello darling

Hi all - Playing in The Paper Players clean and simple challenge of anything with wheels today.

The stamp is from Stamping Bella and is colored with Copic's. The sentiment is from Mama Elephant. While looking in my sentiments for something that would go with this image, (besides the one that comes with the set) I came across the one I used. In my mind, she has a Parisian accent. LOL.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sea you soon

Hello. It's Tuesday, so you know what that means....there's a new sketch up over at Try Stamping On Tuesday. The optional theme on this sketch is "ocean" so this sparked my undersea idea below.

Mermaid is from My Favorite Things. The ocean floor is from Stamping Bella. I colored all of it with Copic markers. My final card took me three tries to get the coloring to where I liked it. Almost gave up too.  I bent the sentiment fishtail banner so that it appears to be waving and adhered it with foam squares.

Also adding this into The Paper Players #552 challenge of beside the seaside.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Hello -
Sharing an interactive pop up card today for the Simon Say Stamp Wednesday challenge.

Gnomes are from Stamping Bella. Colored with Copic's and cut out with my Brother Scan N Cut.

I used the basic pop up die from the Cat's Pajamas to create the pop up effect inside the card.

Thanks for stopping in.

Keep calm

Hello!  Playing in the Freshly Made Sketch #405 Challenge today.

Stamps are from Stamping Bella. They are stamped in versafine ink, heat embossed with clear embossing powder and then colored with Copic's. I used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut them out. Decided to pop them up with some foam tape so they stood out a bit more. I used kraft as a card base so these cute little guys wouldn't get lost against a white background.

Thanks for stopping by.

These cute birds are from Stamping Bella and colored with Copic's. Sentiment is from Hero Arts and that designer paper is from my stash.

As I was laying this out and after I got everything taped into place, I noticed I mixed up my dots and stitches dies. Pft….. Does it even matter?

Gnome love

Hello. Inked up this cute Gnome stamp from Stamping Bella to participate in a few challenges today.

Playing in the Less is More one layer "cute" challenge and the "love notes" challenge over at The Paper Players.

I stamped the image in Versafine ink, heat embossed with clear embossing powder so that I could color with Copic's. I did mask it off (before coloring) and blended on some lemonade Distress ink to ground them and highlight their love. pft.

Pretty happy with this CAS one layer card. It colored up pretty cute.

Thanks for stopping in!

From the two of us

Hello - I got a little coloring in today. This is a new stamp from Stamping Bella that I think is just darling. Put it to good use with the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. However, I changed up the direction to fit the image.

Colored with Copic's. Red and navy cardstock from Papetrey, Ink. The blue gingham is from an old 8 x 8 paper pack from Making Memories.

I highlighted the markings on his scarf with a white gel pen.

Adding this to Simon Says Stamp anything goes challenge too!

Thanks for stopping by!

Always be yourself (unless....)

Hey there. Playing in this weeks Freshly Made Sketch.

Stamps are from Stamping Bella. I inked them up with Versafine and heat embossed with clear embossing powder, so that I could color them with Copic's.

Added some spectrum glitter in clear to the horns. For the wings I used a bit of silver to coordinate with the glitter paper.

Unicorns were cut out using my Brother Scan N Cut, then popped up off of the card using foam tape.

Knight and princess valentine

Hi everyone. Here is the card I made for my DH for Valentine's Day.

The stamp is from Stamping Bella and I colored them with Copic markers.

I kept this very clean and simple for two reasons. 1) Guys don't like a bunch of stuff on their cards. 2) This cute couple should be show cased just as they are!

I mounted this on a black card base with a simple "love"  valentine sentiment from  Winnie and Walter.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day!

Adding this into the Romance Challenge over at CASology.

Yellow polka dot bikini

Hi everyone! It's one layer time over at Less is More and the theme they want to see is at Sea.  Here is my interpretation of it.

Stamps are from Stamping Bella. I stamped it in versafine ink and then heat embossed using clear embossing powder.

Colored with Copic's.

I think I need to have whatever cocktail she is having! And to be laying in the sand by the sea relaxing would be wonderful.

That's all for now. Thanks for stopping in!

Flower jar

Hi there. I really liked the sketch challenge that is currently over at MFT card challenges.  It went well with a NBUS image that I just got from Stamping Bella.

I got both the stamp and the die. It is stamped onto Neena solar white in 120lb and colored with Copic's. Small squares of foam tape used to pop it up off of the tag.

Tag die and stitched fishtail banner are from My Favorite Things. Sentiment is from Victorine Originals. Designer paper is Lasting Impressions.

White satin ribbon is colored with the same blue copic marker as the one around the jar.

Adding this into Darnell's NBUS challenge and the Tag You're it! challenge. That is it for today. Thanks for stopping in.

Beach babe

Good morning. Played around with the theme challenge over at Less is More, which is "life's a beach" and paired it with the Sweet Sunday sketch to come up with this.

I got this stamp over at Stamping Bella, which is from Mo Manning. She's stamped onto X-Press blending paper and colored with Copic markers.

I thought the sketch was a perfect backdrop to use and turned it on its side. That half circle was clearly the sun to me.

Added some glossy accents to her sunglasses and drink but it's kind of hard to see unless you enlarge it.
