CAS game #203 - Guest Designing for AAA cards

Hello. Today I'm guest designing for AAA cards and here is the cue card.

The leaf and the sentiment are from Papertrey, Ink. The inchie is popped up using a foam square.

This was a huge challenge for me as I don't normally do anything with "inchies" but after looking through all my stamps, I finally came up with this one.

Thanks for stopping by and good luck with the challenge.

Sending you birthday wishes

Hello. Playing in The Flower Challenge of Clean and Simple today.

I inlaid the leaf cut outs and the centers of the daisies. Stamped a birthday sentiment and called it good. The border is stacked three times. I'm sorry, I forget who makes this die, I searched all my usual makers and came up empty. If you know, leave a comment. Thanks.

Anyway, love how this turned out. Have a fabulous day.

May it never be...

Hello - playing in the Freshly Made Sketch #474 this evening.

I changed up where the sentiment went because the image was on the small side. Colored with Copic's. I added some score marks on the kraft cardstock to go with the roll....hopefully you can see them in the photo. Just a little tough in cheek humor this evening.

Stamps by Stampendous from the Survived 2020 set.

Hang in there

Hello. I dug out a very old stamp set from the former Angel Company to play in the theme challenge of fashion over at Less is More.

I stamped it in versafine ink and heat embossed it in clear so that I could color with Copic's. Kept this very clean and simple. After cutting the main panel out with a stitched die, I put some fun foam on the back and stuck it on the same color card base.

This set also included a bra and a sentiment that say "thanks for your support." An oldie, but a goody and worth hanging onto.

Have a great day!

Birthday balloons

Hi everyone. Happy New Year! It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is Anything Goes - and we will continue it for the entire month of January.

I stamped and masked the balloons to create this clean and simple birthday card. Used a die to cut out the sentiment.  Positioned the happy over the balloons, then used the negative to add the birthday, that way I kept it spaced correctly. I don't know about you all, but even if I use a ruler, it still doesn't line up sometimes. So much easier to use the negative as a guide.

There's a new challenge every week over at  The House That Stamps Built, and you don't have to use Repeat Impressions stamps to link up or win. Also, for my blog readers: Enjoy the 10% discount code to the Repeat Impressions Store posted on the sidebar.

One lucky person will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate on the first Wednesday of every month – Good luck!

Also, check out our Rock Star blogs to see what they did with the challenge.

Hello. Playing in the card challenge over at Less is More today. The theme challenge is tiny and few. Here is what I did with it.

This ended up being a one layer card. Presents are a digital stamp and the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp. I heat set the ink then colored with a red copic marker.

Thanks for stopping by.

CAS birthday

Hi all - playing in a color challenge today. Less is More is ringing out the old and ringing in the new with the 2019 Pantone color, which was Living Coral, and the 2020 Pantone color which is True Blue. Here is what I did with it.

I used abandoned coral and sponged on the band of color onto a piece of Bristol paper. Cut out the happy birthday die (Simon Says Stamp) using blue cardstock. Decided to frame it with thin strips of the same cardstock so it would stand out a bit more.

Thanks for stopping by!

CAS just a note

Hi all. Playing in the Simon Says Stamp clean and simple challenge today.

Poppy stamp is from Technique Tuesday. I colored onto the stamp with Memento markers and then huffed on it to reactivate the ink. I stamped the middle flowers twice because I didn't get a good impression the first time around and it left a really cool layering effect. To see it click on the pictgure to enlarge.

Sentiment and cardstock is from Papertrey, Ink.

Have a great weekend!

Cotton tail

Hello. Using one of my all time favorite Holiday stamps from the former Angel Company to create this card.

I started with the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketch and teamed it up with the Easter challenge over at Simon Says Stamp.

Bunny is colored with Copic's and I used the cotton off of a Q-Tip for his tail. The grass is done using a distress technique by applying some rubbing alcohol onto an old paint brush. Kind of gives it a bit of depth.

That's it for now. Thanks for stopping by.

CAS graduation card

Hi everyone.  Playing in two challenges today. Less is more recipe week is to use Shimmer. I started off using a piece of shimmer cardstock to create this clean and simple graduation card.

Cardstock and the congrats sentiment stamp are from Papertrey, Ink. I picked up these really cute graduation stickers from Doodlebug Designs at Impress Cards and Crafts.

I stamped the sentiment several times using my Nano Stampaholic to get it as dark as I could on the slippery shimmery cardstock.

Entering this into Addicted to CAS: code word Graduation

That's it for now. Thanks for stopping by.

Just a note

Stamped in Versafine ink, heat embossed with clear embossing powder, then colored with Copic's. Stamp is from Mama Elephant.

Kept it clean and simple and let the image be the star.  Have a great day!

Friends

Hello. Playing in a few challenges today.

Kept this clean and simple and real quick.

Gelatos used to make the rainbow. I scribbled some color onto another piece of water color paper and then picked up the color to paint. Drawing directly onto the paper left too much gelato on the paper and it didn't blend well.

Used a punch to create the decorative ends on the banner.

Thanks for stopping in.

Hugs

Hi everyone. Created this card for a co-worker who is going through some tough times with one of her fur babies. It also fits into the challenge over at The Paper Players.

The paw print die is from Memory Box.

I stamped the "sending" and cut out three "hugs" and glued them together to add dimension.  These are from Papertrey, Ink.

Kept this one pretty clean and simple so that the message is clear.

Thanks for looking.
