Sending a little note

Hi all! I'm playing in the theme challenge over at The Paper Players today.  It's all about spring flowers. 

The tulip stamp is from the Friendship Jar Fillers from Papertrey, Ink. I stamped it in Simon Says intense black ink so that I could color them with Copic markers. 

The sentiment is from The Stamp Market and the stitched dies are from MFT stamps.

Have a fun and spooky Halloween

Hello everyone, 

Here is the last card that I designed using the new stamp set called Halloween Ghosts. This is such a cute set with so many possibilities for a lot of cute cards and Halloween projects. 

I kept this card very clean and simple. I stamped the ghost in versafine ink then heat embossed it so that I could color it with Copic markers. I then highlighted the glasses with glossy accents. 

I found a piece of cardstock that matched the color I used on the glasses to stamp the sentiment. A square die was used to cut out the image and then I layered everything in black. As you can see by the shadow, I did use foam tape behind the ghost to give it some dimension.

Hello - entering another card into the Fall/Winter coffee lovers blog hop.

Mug die cut from white cardstock and then colored with Copic's. The hearts are sequins. Planner stamps from SRM is where the sentiments are from. The cover die is from Avery Elle.

Just a note

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is anything BUT a card. I made a note card holder using a die from the paper studio. 

I used two flat letter beads (for a friendship bracelet) and glued them onto the backs of the flowers in order to tie on the scrappers floss. This made it easy to tie this shut. I colored the floss with copic's to match the flowers. 

This little pouch could be used for a gift card, money, etc.  Super fun challenge - can't wait to see what ya'll come up with. Please join us.

Poppies are colored with Copics. I've had this colored up in my stash for a while and cut it down to use with this sketch. I chose to keep it CAS for this one.  Honey bee frame die used on black cardstock.

Trick or Treat!

Hey there!

Since we are so close to Halloween, I decided to make a clean and simple card to share.

Candy corn is stamped multiple times, heat embossed and colored with copics. Sentiment is also heat embossed.

Hello - Playing in the Simon Says Stamp "let's get ready for Christmas" challenge today.

Stamp is from Newton's Nook. Colored with Copic's and added some small pompoms on to some of their hats for fun.  Cardbase is a dark navy blue and I used a stitched rectangle die to cut out the group, then layered with red cardstock. Wouldn't this stamp be fun to do a spotlight technique with too?

Designers choice - Long tall sally

Hello.

It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week its a designers choice and its my turn to come up with the challenge. My choice it to create a long tall sally card - basically a card that will fit into a legal envelope. Roughly 8 1/4 x 4.  I like to create these now and again and mail them out. We typically only get bills in legal sized envelopes, so it's nice to see "happy mail" for a change.

I used the flower vine stamp found here and colored them with Copic's. Added the sentiment panel and embellished it with a few strips of ribbon on the left that I colored to match the flowers. Added the dragonflies, then layered it with green and pink.

Anything goes challenge over at the House!

It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week we were challenged to do nothing specific - it's ANYTHING GOES week.

This is a quartet stamp that you can find HERE.

I stamped it in Versafine and then heat embossed it using clear embossing powder. I came back and colored in heart with a red Copic marker. Tied on some thin black satin ribbon and added it to a square black card base.
