Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at Just Us Girls. This week is trend week and we are looking for Multi-step stamping.

Flower layering stamps are from WPlus9 and the hello sentiment is from Winnie & Walter.

I used Fresh pigment inks in Spun Sugar, pink lemonade and butter for each flower. Outline stamped in Versafine, as is the sentiment. I dusted off my small scalloped border die and used it to frame the pink panel in the back ground.

Surely everyone now has perfected this technique with all the really cool stamps that are now available. Why not whip something up and join us this week?

Hi everyone, here is my take on the sketch over at CASe this sketch. Went with a very feminine twist this time around.

The sentiment is from My Favorite Things. I stamped it using my Nano several times to get the black the darkest it could be.

The light pink polka dot designer paper is out of my stash so I have no idea who made it.  Colored the lace with the R81 Copic marker. Small scalloped border is from Lifestyle crafts.

Pink rose is from Kaisercraft and the leaves are a punch from Martha Stewart crafts.

Agapanthus

Hi everyone! I signed up for the greenhouse society over at Technique Tuesday. For less than $10.00 (+S&H) I get a floral stamp every month. Here is the latest stamp.

I had to google the Agapanthus to see what color to use on it and then got out the Copic's.  This mini set comes with three sentiments, one of which is used here. 

My favorite things die was used to cut it out and the layer in the back ground. I dusted off my mid-sized  scalloped border and used that behind the green panel in the back. Added some pearls and called it done.

Technique Tuesday's web site is under going some maintenance right now, otherwise I would've linked it up for you to see how wonderful their greenhouse stamps are.

Tree in burlap

Hey everyone! I'd stamped up a few of these tree's up and had them colored and ready to be make into cards, when I saw this weeks Freshly Made Sketch.

I just had to tweak the sketch a bit to make it work!

The little tree stamp is from Plum Purdy that I've had in my Christmas stamp stash for a while now. I sure wish that she would make more of her paintings into stamps. They are sooo cute.

I stamped it in Versafine ink and heat embossed it using clear embossing powder so that I could color the sack. In my mind it's burlap and used E31, E35 and E37 Copic's to color. Added a bit of clear wink of Stella glitter to the star that I colored using Y21. 

Black scrappers floss used to tie the bow. The bottom scallop was cut out using the smallest die from Lifestyle crafts on a canvas like material. Then using E37, I colored it to match the bag. The embossing folder is from Taylored Expressions aptly named burlap. Sentiment is from PTI and was stamped prior to running the kraft cardstock through the cuttlebug. I can't believe how well it lined up on the first try!

Happy Birthday

Hi everyone! I was inspired over at the Tag you're it! blog to make this card.

The sweet pea stamp is from the former There She Goes. I stamped it in versafine, heat embossed with clear embossing powder and then colored the two sets with Copic's in R81 and R85. 

I fussy cut the three bigger petals out and then attached them using tiny pieces of foam tape to pop them up. Love the dimension it gives.

Tag die is from Quickutz (Lifestyle crafts). I ended up layering the tag with both pink and black cardstock to make it stand out a bit from the big argyle designer paper.

I ran the pink cardstock through a new embossing folder I just picked up from cricut for the cuttlebug called gingham.

Finally, I took a section of white satin ribbon and colored it with the R81 Copic marker, then tied on some black scrappers floss. Sentiment is from Papertrey, Ink.

Christmas goodie bag

Hi everyone! I liked the challenge over at The Friday Mashup and decided to play along!

I created the tag using an old Life Style Crafts (Quickutz) tag die. The fir branch is from Great Impressions, which is stamped in green and then I added the sentiment from Stampendous. I've had that fir branch stamp forever and you should see how stained the wood is.

I layered the tag with pine green and scarlet jewel cardstock from PTI.

The treat box is made using the envelope punch board from We R Memory Keepers. I used a piece of 12 x 12 paper in kraft and then added the bow to tie it off.

Also entering this into the Tag You're It challenge #8.

Baby baby baby

Hi everyone! Here's a peek at a baby card that I made for a co-worker who just had her first grandchild.

The onesie stamp is from Hero Arts that is one of four stamps in a set that I purchased eon's ago. It is paper pieced with polka dot paper from Papertrey, Ink. It is also popped up onto the circle cut out using foam tape.

The baby sentiment is a tiny stamp from PTI that I just stamped all around the edge of the circle cut out.

Satin ribbon added on top if the yellow polka dot dp and then the Bow Easy was used to tie that perfect bow.

Scalloped edges were created using the medium die from Lifestyle crafts. Lastly, I colored in the little heart on the onesie with a white sharpie paint pen.

Mojo #341 - you are always

Hi all! It's been ages since I participated in the Mojo Monday sketch challenge. I just can't seem to find the time early in the week with having to do my day job. However I carved out an hour today and came up with this.

Stamps are from Powerpoppy called Azalea and colored with Copic's. I colored this up for another sketch challenge and didn't end up using it, so I was able to work it into this week Mojo sketch. I like how it ended up! I added a bit of liquid pearls onto the stamen but then ended up crushing it when I ran it through the cuttlebug.

Designer paper is from the Old World stack from DCWV and the coral cardstock is from PTI that I didn't even know I had. WooHoo it matched wonderfully with the Copic markers I used. Copic marker used to color the satin ribbon to match as well.

Every time I see this sentiment I always think of Willie Nelson and then that song is stuck in my head! Ugh!

Frog-got

Hello! Here's a quick card that I put together for a friends birthday that I inadvertently missed.

Stamps are from There She Goes, which is now closed. The frog is colored using Copic markers.

I really like the half rounded banner dies from My Favorite Things but don't use them a lot for some reason. I was bound and determined to use it on this card.

The lime green polka dot designer paper is from Lasting Impressions. I colored the white satin ribbon yellow with a Copic marker to match the scalloped yellow cardstock in the back and to hide the seam.

Instead of adding a sentiment panel, I decided to stamp right on the designer paper. This kept it cleaner and you really notice the polka dots now.

Hey everyone! He's a quick clean and simple card for this weeks sketch over at Clean & Simple #274.

I cut out three hearts from a Lifestyle craft heart die. Two red and one white. The heart on the top left is stamped in white craft ink using the distress polka dot stamp from Savvy Stamps. The top right heart is stamped in Wild Cherry ink from MFT using the plaid stamp from the Half & Half set from PTI. The sentiment is from the Beyond Basic Borders also from PTI. I don't have a lot of heart dies, just a few smaller ones, so I decided to use circles as the sketch calls out.

I popped a lot of this up using foam tape to get a bit of dimension. There's a lot of white space on this card, that is why I decided to texture up the hearts!

Also using this for CFC125.Word is Love!

Think pink

Good Morning! Thought I would share my Breast Cancer awareness card with you all today!

Sentiment is from A*Muse and stamped in pink lemonade fresh ink. Polka dot designer paper is from Papertrey, Ink and cut with my medium scalloped border from Lifestyle Crafts. The tag die is from Verve and that pink heart ribbon is something that I picked up at the clinic where I got my Mammogram done. Hot pink scrappers floss added to the tag to continue the think pink theme!

Happy bee-lated Birthday

Hi everyone! Here is my take on this weeks Freshly Made Sketch!

Stamps are from The Craft's Meow. The little bee is colored with a Copic marker and then I added some glossy accents to his little wings. Hard to see in the photo though!

I cut the tag using the LifeStyle Crafts die which also has the tabs on it too. Then I ran it through the Sizzix hexagon embossing folder. I did stamp the squiggle fly line before I embossed it, then was able to put the bee right where I wanted it! Added a layer of black cardstock and then tied on the bakers twine.

Designer paper is from Provo Craft. I really like how this turned out - clean and simple!

Blue bird

Hello! I've scheduled this to post since I'm up in Alaska again on business.

Stamps are from Verve and the bird is colored with Copic markers.

The blue designer paper is from Lasting Impressions that I've had stashed away for awhile. I used the name plate die from Lifestyle Crafts - it comes with the ability to outline in a single cut. I jut used sponged it blue to go with the rest of the card. I did turn it upside down and then added the blue pearls from Kaisercraft anchor it down.
