Masculine Happy Birthday - TSOT701

Hello. Welcome back to another sketch over at Try a Sketch on Tuesday.

I created the background paper using Paperartsy infusions. The stamps used in the background are from Sweet Miss Daisy Designs.

The cogs are die cuts that are sprayed with the infusions, then highlighted with Lisa Horton waxes.  Some of the cogs and the chain are from Stampin Up! Birthday sentiment is from Honey Bee Stamps.

Happy Birthday

Hello! I'm playing in the hand stamped sentiments challenge today.  It's an inspiration challenge from the graphic below.

The dies are from Stampin Up! I cut them out of silver cardstock and then used mushroom and turquoise alcohol inks to distress the gears.  The sentiment stamp is from Poppy stamps and the wonderful designer paper is from craft consortium.

Thanks for stopping by.

Take care of yourself - TFC#92

Hello everyone. Here is your mid-month reminder about the current challenge going on over at The Flower Challenge blog.  It's a sketch challenge! See sketch below.

Here is another card that I created for the current challenge.

The flower stamp, die and sentiment are from Pink and Main. I water-colored it using Mei Liang watercolors. The dragonfly die is from Stampin Up, however, I made it using shrink plastic and my little pancake maker. I highly recommend that little gadget for doing anything shrink plastic - so much easier than using your heat tool and you don't waste product because it didn't flatten out correctly.
