Frosty sunrise

Hello. It's my turn to do a project of the week and I'm doing another throw back project.

I love how this frosty sunrise turned out and thought it was good enough for a do over. I did spritz this with some Imagine sheer shimmer spray in sparkle, but of course it doesn't show up in the photo. In real life is sparkles really prettily.  The sunrise was created using distress oxide inks. I stamped the grass and tree in gray and white inks and highlighted it with white paint pen to give it that frosty look. I used a Copic multiliner pen to hand draw the birds in.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Inspiration photo challenge

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is the use the following graphic.

I used Ranger Distress Oxide inks to blend out the sky using the colors in the photo. I stamped the tree and grass in grey ink and then added some white pigment ink over the top to resemble snow. Then went back and added some white paint onto the tree using a white brush paint pen. I then hand drew the birds flying in the sky.  Light gray cardstock used as the base of the card.

There's a new challenge every week over at  The House That Stamps Built, and you don't have to use Repeat Impressions stamps to link up or win. Also, for my blog readers: Enjoy the 10% discount code to the Repeat Impressions Store posted on the sidebar.

One lucky person will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate on the first Wednesday of every month – Good luck!

Also, check out our Rock Star blogs to see what they did with the challenge.
