The love sentiment die is from Honey Bee Stamps. Designer paper is from Authentique. The heart dies I have in my stash like, forever, and I believe they are from PTI.  The fishtail banner dies are from MFT.

Fusion card challenge = spread your wings

Just a note hello

Hi all - playing in the sketch challenge over at The Paper Players today.

Flower stamp and dies are from Technique Tuesday. Colored with Copic's. Sentiment is from Papertrey, Ink. The blue designer paper is from Authentic that has been in my paper stash forever. It has faint blue typeface in the background that is really cool.  Enlarge the photo for a better look see.

Celebrate

Hi everyone! Still fighting the crud but was able to find some Mojo to play around with the challenge over at The Paper Players. This time around it was a sketch, which you can see below.

The girls are a stamp from Stamping Bella and paper pieced. Which is a technique I don't do a lot of for some reason!  I also added a bit of glossy accents to their drinks to make them look real. Copic's used to color their hair. Still need to work on my black hair coloring.

Celebrate sentiment is from Stampin Up! Stitched circle die is from Lil' Inker Designs and the straight edge is from Pretty Pink Posh, I believe.

Designer paper is from Authentique.  I did add a circle of black behind the party girls, it's just a smidge bigger than the stitched circle and then I popped it up with foam tape.

Mojo 379 - Birthday blessings

Hi everyone! I decided to give this weeks Mojo Monday a try and here are the results.

All stamps are from Verve. I colored the cupcake with Copic's and now I want a chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting! I'm arguing that the yellow around the bottom of the cupcake is the paper.

Designer paper is from Authentique. I used a few more of the pony beads that I melted down. The white/ivory ones kind of have a yellow tinge to it, so they worked well on the yellow designer paper. The black ones are a little bit smaller and work well in the top right hand corner. I found when melting the beads that you can adjust the size by the amount of time spent in the oven. The only this I hate, is trying to get them glued on. I prefer the self adhesive ones, still.

Bow is tied with the Bow Easy. I manipulated the bow ends so that they would lay flat on top of the strip using clear glue squares.

Hello! Just a quick post today to show case a clean and simple card I made using the free die I got from My Favorite Things because I spent too much money again! LOL!

It really is a cool die too, just lay it across your A2 card base and run it through your die cutting machine to get the "friend" to cut out perfectly!

I used some striped designer paper behind it from Authentique. There are sooo many variations that you could use this die with and so many different papers. The possibilities are pretty endless.

The thank you is from Avery Elle. Now, the green dots are re-purposed pony beads that I melted down in the oven. I have a whole bag full of colors now! Check out You-Tube for directions, oven temps, etc. The only thing is I wish, is that it was easier to apply them. Which glue do you use if you make them yourself?

Anniversary card

Hi everyone! Merry Christmas!!! I've been tinkering around in the craft room while the turkey is the oven and the family is snoozing. I really liked this sketch from Paper Craft Crew Challenge that I saw and clicked on while surfing Pinterest.  It doesn't have any SU products or stamps on it, but the challenge rules state that I can still play along! Yea!

This actually has very limited stamping on it. The sentiment is from the Mixed Messages set from Papertrey, Ink. The flower that is stamped on the half circle is from Purple onion designs. I stamped it in Versamark and then heat embossed it with white detail embossing powder. Tiny black pearls and adhered to the flower center to make it stand out a bit more.

The designer paper is from the Renew collection from Authentique. I used the cool shadow Copic marker to color the white satin ribbon and then used the bow easy to tie it into a tiny bow. That is black scrappers floss behind it twirled up using my piercing tool.

Dies used are from My Favorite Things and the tiny tag is from Paper Smooches. I went with a normal A2 card with the sketch instead of a square.

Snowy tree tag

Hi everyone! Here is a card I made using the Tag You're It! challenge and it happens to go well with this weeks Addicted to CAS too!

Tag is a die from PTI and cut out using rustic white cardstock. The trees are sponged on using Mojito pigment ink from Fresh Ink. I had cut out the tree's using the die from Taylored Expressions and used the negative as a stencil. One of the cut out trees is colored with ink and then popped up in from with foam tape. I also added a bit of bling using the clear wink of stella pen.

The snow scene is done using the snow embossing folder from Taylored Expressions.  Sentiment is from Papertrey, Ink and cut out using the fishtail banner from MFT.

Added three tiny gold pearls to the left side of the fishtail banner to add a bit on interest and to sort of match the jingle bell that I tied to the top of the tag.  Red designer paper is from Authentique and cut out using the stitched die from Simon Says Stamp.

The tartan ribbon is from my stash and went really well with the rustic theme I was going for on this card! Thanks for stopping by!

FMS#133 - Thanks for making my day

Hi everyone! What a busy week! Had to fly to San Diego for three days of meetings and that put a crimp in my creative time! Thank goodness for weekends! Here is my take on this weeks FMS #133.

Sentiment stamp is from My Favorite Things.

Designer paper is from Authentique and I used the newest blueprints 14 dies from MFT to cut out the flower, button and leaves.

Yellow bakers twine used to tie the bow and the card base is vintage cream. I did pop up the square panel with foam tape to give this a bit of dimension.

FMS130 - Yea!

Hi everyone! Here's my take on this week Freshly Made Sketch. I also combined it with Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday challenge, which is Happy Birthday.

This is a digi stamp from Sassy Cheryl and colored with Copics.

Designer paper is from Authentique's Glory 6 x 6 paper pack. Gray blue cardstock is from American Crafts.

The star is chipboard that I covered with designer paper, distressed and stamped the sentiment on. The sentiment is from PTI.

Colored the white satin ribbon with B97 and used B99 to color the white tiny pearls. The middle one isn't as dark as the other two - dang it! Oh well.

FMS #128 - Happy Birthday

Happy Friday everyone and happy spring too! SO glad spring is finally here.  Here is my take on this weeks sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.

I used one of the new spring stamp sets that was just released from Simon Says Stamp. It's called handwritten borders.

Designer paper is from Authentiques Renew 6 x 6 paper pack. 

Copic Coral Sea BG23 is a pretty darn close match to the designer paper and used to color the white satin ribbon. Candy dots are from M's reflection line.

Yes, the picture was a bit crooked and I tried to fix it in PSE but this was the best I could do.  Must get a tiny tripod to attach to my camera to take straighter pictures. UGH!

Hey everyone! Here is my take on this weeks Freshly Made Sketch #124.

I saw this sketch as a way to use up some of my designer paper! Gasp! This is from Authentique's 8 x 8 pack called Renew.

I sponged on some Wendy Vecchi archival ink in cornflower blue so that the yellow flower dp stood out a bit. The yellow strip is also distressed a bit around the edges with thatched straw from Versamagic.

Pastel candy dots from Reflections and the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp. Inside this it says "Thanks!"

This ended up being a 5 x 5 square card.  Thanks for stopping by!
