Flakes - SSC350

Hello. Welcome back. Today over at Sunday Stamps we have a sketch to play with.

This card took me way tooooo long to make. LOL.

The snowflake background stitched die is from Waffleflower.  The top hat is a die from Jaded Blossom and the sentiment is from a retired company called There she Goes stamps.  I used black rhinestones for the eyes on the snowman and cut the noses out of scrap orange paper.

Below is the sketch for you. Thanks for stopping by.

So sorry

Hi everyone, I'm playing in the TGIF #503 sketch challenge today. I decided to do a non-holiday card.

The fern stamp is from Waffle Flower. I stamped it in artichoke ink from Simon Says Stamp. I liked the color so much that I decided to ink blend the back rectangles and the back layering piece in the same color.

The sentiment is from Gina K and the stitched cover die is from My Favorite Things.

Joy - TFC98

Hello! There is a new challenge up over at The Flower challenge. We are looking for you to add some sparkle to your flower creations.

I used the Joy die from Penny Black as an anchor for this holographic poinsettia. I colored the silver paper using alcohol inks. In real life, it really sparkles.  The background is embossed with snow embossing powder through a snow stencil.

Winter scene

Hello. Playing in the Paper Players "Be a Deer" challenge today.

I ink blended the background using the trio of ink from Simon Says Stamp (morning, twilight, and galaxy).  Then added the black die cuts to create a silhouette scene.  I believe these dies are from Memory Box, however, I've had them in my stash for so long I can't remember.  I also added some snowflakes using embossing paste through a stencil. Lastly, I added a bit of white splatter and shimmer spritz to the card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Nailed it - TSOT659

Hello and welcome to another sketch challenge for Try A Sketch On Tuesday.

The stamps are from Technique Tuesday. I fussy cut two of the nails to use behind the sentiment panel. The self-adhesive silver pearls are supposed to resemble nails as well. I specifically used an odd number of them, but looking at it now, maybe I should have added that last one to balance it out. What do you think?

Here is the sketch.

Merry Christmas

Hello. Playing in the snow challenge over at Addicted to CAS today.

I used a stencil and Lisa Hortoncraft premium dye metallic pigment ink in silver to create the main snowy panel. I also embossed the snowflakes with silver embossing powder for additional dimension. The panel is popped up with a piece of fun foam.

The Merry Christmas sentiment die is from Simon Says Stamp and cut out of silver cardstock.  I did back it with vellum that I added a bit of sparkle to with a wink of Stella pen. Lastly, I spritzed it with sparkle shimmer spray, which of course does not show up in the photo.

Thanks for stopping by.

Just for you - TSOT658

Hi and welcome to another sketch challenge over at Try a Sketch on Tuesday.

I used a Penny Black embossing folder to emboss the circle.  The greenery around it comes from several different companies. Lawn Fawn, memory box, Echo Park, etc.

The cream cardstock is from Papertrey Ink.  The rectangle dot die is from My Favorite Things, and gets a good workout from me. This one and the stitched die are pretty much a staple in all my cardmaking.  Do you have any that get a good workout too?

Thanks

Hello. Here is the new prompt for you to use at The Flower Challenge blog.  We are looking for "thanks" this go around.

The rose stamp is an old red rubber one from Gray Wolf Graphics. I colored it with Copic Markers. I got lucky and found a piece of cardstock to layer it with.  Added a thanks die cut using some glossy black cardstock.  The dot rectangle dies are from MFT.

Hello

Hello. I'm playing in a few challenges with this family of bears today.

I stamped, colored and cut out the bears from My Favorite Things to create this scene.  I paper-pieced their scarves using plaid designer paper from Say it with stamps/photoplay's Holiday plaid 6x6 paper pad. The tree stamp is from Gina K Designs. I used distress oxide ink in tumbled glass and stenciled on the clouds in the background.

Finally added a bit of twine and a tag to say Hello. The hello sentiment is from Altenew and the tag die is an old one from Papertrey, Ink. I used foam squares to bring the bears up from the background.  The stitched frame is cut three times and glued together as well.

Thanks for stopping in. I'm entering this into the following challenges:
Tic Tac Toe challenge (see graphic below)

Jingle bells - not a creature was stirring

Winter scene

Hello. Playing around with the Stampember Gina K stamp set called stay cozy.

I created the hills using a sheet of copy paper cut into curves and Simon Say Stamp saturated ink and a blending brush. The fir, tall trees and deer are all stamped in Versavine black onyx ink.  The moon is done with SSS ink. Once I stamped the fir trees, I used a prismacolor pencil to draw in the shadows.

The stitched outline cover die is from My Favorite Things.

Simple things - SSC347

Hello and welcome to another challenge over at Sunday Stamps.  Here is what I made using the inspiration color prompt photo.

I decided to create a specimen tag using some dried lavender for this color prompt challenge.  The purples called out to me for some reason.

I randomly stamped the lavender on the purple card base using an older stamp from Technique Tuesdays greenhouse society line.  I used some of that fantastic cello tape from Tim Holtz to hold down the lavender. I then stamped some script onto the white tag using shaded lilac oxide ink. Added some rub-ons and fibers that matched the cardstock and called it good.
