Thanks a melon

Hello and Welcome to another Fusion Card Challenge, where you can use the sketch or the photo or both. Here is what I did with it.

I went with the watermelon that you see in the photo and I followed the sketch.

The watermelon stamps are from Wildflower stamps who are no longer in business. The sentiment is from Sunny Studio. I used pigment ink from Fresh inks to stamp the watermelon bits with. I used a white gel pen to highlight the seeds.

Please check out the Design Team’s creations for this challenge.

Make a wish

Hello. Playing in another challenge today. This one is for the kraft and white challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays.

Stamps are from Wildflower stamps, which is no longer in business. Stamped in white pigment ink and then heat embossed with detail white embossing powder.

Sentiment panel is popped up using foam squares and I added a bit of white grosgrain ribbon to it for some detail.

Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks! You're one in a melon!

Hi there. Playing in The Paper Players theme challenge today. It's all about sweet treats. Here is what I did with it.

This is from the former Wildflower stamps, which is one of my favorite little stamp sets. It's a bummer that they are no longer in business. I used Hero Arts ink (Kelly's mini cubes) to create the watermelon. Stitched rectangle die is from MFT.

That is it for today, thanks for stopping by.

Melon

Hi all! Here is a thank you card that I really like to make during the summer. This water melon is cute as can be and works with the challenge over at The house that stamps built of fresh and fruity.

Stamps are from Wildflower stamps that I've had forever and don't seem to be available any longer. Sorry about the dark picture, it was overcast yesterday and I had the shades drawn due to the neighbors having their roof pressure washed. I didn't want the guy on the roof looking into my office/craft room.

Fresh ink in Mojito green and strawberry used to create the melon. The watermelon paper in the background is from A*Muse Studio and the green is from Bazzill. Added some "seeds" to the lower right hand corner and called it done.

Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you - Mojo #298

Hi again! I think I'm in a summer mood - might be because the sun just came out (it's 3:00 PM) and it's supposed to be nice this weekend! Anyway, here's my take on Mojo Monday's #298 sketch .

Watermelon stamp is an old one I got from Wildflower stamps ages ago. It's a clear stamp so I was able to line up the rind, fruit and seed really easily. I used Fresh Ink from Impress in Limeade and Pink Lemonade and then stamped the seeds in Versafine. The Thank You sentiment is from Verve.

Pink designer paper is from Lasting Memories. Lime green cardstock is from Bazzill and I used the pennant trim die from Verve for the right hand side.

Scrappers floss was used to tie the white stain ribbon together before adding the bow. I decided to twirl the ends with my piercing tool instead of just cutting them off. Bow was created using the Bow Easy.

I'm also entering this card into the Summer Fruits challenge over at Simon Says Stamp!

Have a great weekend!

One in a melon!

Hi everyone!

I made this quick CAS card for a co-worker (of sorts) who has really taken a beating this last week. She heard from all ends of the spectrum and kept her head about her!

The lime green cardstock is out of a 5 x 7 pack from DCWV and it's a color that is so in now! As a matter of fact, I just found some nail polish in this shade and had my toes painted with it! LOL!!!  OK, back to the details...

Stamps are from Wild Flower stamps which I've had for a few years, and they seem to be out of business now. Nothing is coming up when I searched for it using google. I used Studio G chalk inks to stamp the watermelon and Archival jet black for the sentiment and seeds.

Black satin ribbon tied on before adhering the cardstock to the card base. I haven't used that corner punch in such a long time that I actually forget what it's called. But I like the look.

What do you think? Have a wonderful day and thanks for dropping in!

SCS sketch challenge - kick stand card

I wanted to show you all this fun sketch that I did over on SCS. You can do so many things with this sketch!

The main image is stamped with white craft ink and then embossed with glacier white embossing powder form Cornish Heritage Farms.

Is this stamp set cute or what? I got it from Wildflower stamps! This is my second set I bought from here and I'm very pleased with them. Check out the stitches set she carries, it's petite and it's clear, great for working in those tight areas!

Supplies:
Stamps - Dandylion set from Wildflower stamps
Paper - DCWV luxury stack, String of pearls from paper accents, black cardstock
Grosgrain ribbon in black and length of silver
