Enjoy

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is the use the following graphic.

I created the watermelon from several die cuts. I used a circle to cut out the green and a piece of white cardstock. Colored with Copic's and then used a rain drop for the seeds. Added highlights using a white gel pen. Sentiment is stamped and heat embossed for shine.  Bow easy used to tie the gingham bow.

There's a new challenge every week over at  The House That Stamps Built, and you don't have to use Repeat Impressions stamps to link up or win. Also, for my blog readers: Enjoy the 10% discount code to the Repeat Impressions Store posted on the sidebar.

One lucky person will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate on the first Wednesday of every month – Good luck!

Also, check out our Rock Star blogs to see what they did with the challenge.

Super cute card, Laurie! We both had the same idea of creating a watermelon from die cut circles -- I never thought of doing a 1/2 instead of a wedge, but I love it! I love the highlights on your seeds too -- I always forget to do that, but it adds so much!

Fabulous card, like how you created a watermelon, and the green checked ribbon is the perfect final touch!

Love your pretty handcrafted watermelon from dies. Great image and your saying is perfect. the seeds in the watermelon look perfect and then you added a bit more with the white gel pen. Great job.
