Just a note

Hello-
Playing in the Freshly Made Sketch challenge today.

Flower stamps are from Impress. I used Fresh ink, which is a pigment ink to stamp the flowers and leaves. The center is stamped in versafine.

I changed up the oval to a rectangle to fit my die cut sentiment.

Thanks for stopping in.

Sketch challenge #271

Hello. It's sketch time over at CAS Colors & Sketches and here is your inspiration.

As you can see, I turned the sketch on it's side.

This is actually an all in one die from Simon Says Stamp, the squares are all lined up in a neat little row. I used it to show case this flower stamp from Impress Rubber Stamps.

I used the new Versafine Clair ink in Glamorous (absolutely love this new pigment ink) and then heat embossed it using clear embossing powder.

Sentiment is from WPlus9. Used the R29 Copic marker to color the skinny white satin ribbon and then tied a tiny bow using the bow easy.

Hope this inspires you to play along.

Happy Halloween

Hi everyone! I had a few minutes today to put together a quick card for this weeks Freshly Made Sketch.

I used a spider web stencil and distress inks to create the back ground.

Spiders are small brads that I picked up at Impress Rubber Stamps.

Happy is die cut three times and glued together then added to the card using foam tape. The Halloween small sentiment is from Avery Ellle.

What a fun sketch to work with. Lots of possibilities!

 Thanks for stopping in!

Christmas in July

Hello. The Paper Players are hosting a Christmas in July challenge and I decided I would play along.

Snowflakes are cut out with a few punches that I have in my drawer. The big one is from EK success and the smaller one is from Martha Stewart.

I used some silver liquid pearls and mixed it with Rangers cornflower blue reinker. Then smooched it on a piece of cardstock and added some white liquid pearls and then mixed it all up.  The color of the snowflakes is what I ended up with, which I think is pretty cool.

Sentiment is from Impress Rubber Stamps and stamped with one of the new mini dye inks from Hero Arts.

Vintage cream and kraft cardstock from PTI used as the card base and main panel up against the teal snowflakes.

Thanks for stopping by!

Pink blossoms

Hello! Here is my take on this weeks Freshly Made Sketch.

I thought my pinks matched pretty good until I went to edit the pictures I had taken! Bummed out now.

Well, it is what it is.

Stamps and dies are from the Big Happy set from Papertrey, ink. Designer paper is from DCWV.

Inks used are from the Fresh Ink line from Impress Rubber stamps. I really like their pigment ink and it's actually made by the same folks that make Mama Elphant's and A*Muse Studio's ink. Tsukineko?

Added the self adhesive pearls from Kaisercraft and the dots are from M's reflection line. I'm liking the yellow centers surrounded by that black ink.  Used a bit of foam tape to pop the flowers and the layer on top of the white card base. Corner chomper used to round the corners.

Thanks for looking and stopping in!
ETA: Adding this into the something new challenge over at Simon Says Stamps. Since the stamps and dies from PTI are "new" to me.

Snowflake

Hi everyone! Decided to create a card with this weeks theme of snowflakes over at CAS-ual Fridays.

Snowflake is a die that came in three sizes, this is the middle one. I cut it out of some back ground papers that I created a white ago. I did the smooch method on a craft sheet with Fresh Ink reinkers from Impress rubber stamps and water. These are pigment inks, so you know they took a while to dry. I also ended up using some fixative on it so that the ink wouldn't rub off.

Anyway, I layered three snowflakes together and inserted them back into the negative space of the white card base. Added the sentiment. Which by the way, I was enabled to buy through FB from The Stampin Place.

Added the whole thing back onto one of the back grounds I created and adhered to a white card base. Lastly, I added a bit of clear wink of stella glitter onto the snowflake so it would sparkle.

Thanks for stopping in.

LIM - Berry shades

Hello all! I've been stewing on what to do with the color challenge over at Less Is More, which is berry shades and finally came up with something. Of course that meant that I had to buy a new ink pad to do it! ;-)

Yep, caved and bought two of the new Hero Arts Ombre ink pads. One green and the other pink/red. I used just the mid pink and light pink on the solid flower and did the leaves in the green.

Stamp is from Impress Rubber Stamps and the sentiment is from My Favorite Things. Added a bit of pink gingham ribbon, tied a tiny bow with the bow easy and stuck it on with a glue dot.

I added the border to a white 4 x 5.25 sheet of cardstock then popped it up on a normal A2 card base. Simple and quick card.

Thanks for popping in!

Dragonfly

Hi everyone! Saw this sketch come across FB for CASe this sketch and had to give it a whirl.

Dragonfly die is from Clearly Besotted. It's two different dies in the set. The solid is cut from my ombre Kleenex box (its almost gone now) and the outline is done with Black cardstock and some stick it!

The leaf branches and ferns on the squares are from Paper Smooches. I cut out the squares using this die from SSS. Then used some repositional tape to tape them down and randomly stamped the ferns in Mojito ink and the leaf branch in Limeade. Both inks are from Fresh Inks from Impress Rubber Stamps.

Sentiment is from Papertrey, Ink and lastly that yummy green cardstock if from Bazzill.

That's it for today. Thanks for stopping by!

Girly thank you

Hello! Here is my take on this week's challenge over at The Paper Players. It's clean and simple girly thanks.

Flower stamps and dies are from Simon Says Stamp. I stamped the flowers in Pink Lemonade from Fresh Ink by Impress Rubber Stamps. I used Copic Opaque white in the centers so that they would stand out a bit. The flowers are also popped up using thick foam tape mini squares.

Leaf die is from Memory Box and it's cut apart here and there to tuck under the flowers.

That wonderful pearl border in the back ground is from The Ribbon Girl in the UK. Got that as a part of my winnings from Less is More. Designer paper is from Making Memories that I found in my stash of papers. Rustic white cardstock from PTI used as the card base. Thank you sentiment is from MFT.

OK - Back to laundry. Thanks for popping in!

To a wonderful friend

Hi everyone! What a week this has been! Here is my take on this weeks Freshly Made Sketch.

I also used the challenge going on over at CAS.ual Fridays called crafty bouquets. You are to use kraft, flowers and twine. Lastly, Simon's Wednesday challenge is Happy Birthday.

Sentiment is from My Favorite Things.

I used an oval nestie on the bottom per the sketch. Memory Box leaf die is used on green cardstock to cut out the leaves for the base of flowers. Flowers are from OTC that I've had in my stash for years. I used melted down white pony beads for the centers. Just a dab of glossy accents glued them down pretty easily.  The burlap border was purchased pre-made at Hobby Lobby and I just cut it to size. Green baker twine is from Impress rubber stamps.

That's about it. Pretty quick to put together all in all. Thanks for stopping by!

Laughs in flowers

Hi everyone! I saw the sketch over at CAS(e) this sketch and thought it would work great with a piece that I had sitting in my "to make a card" pile. I decided to leave it as a rectangle though.

The stamp is from Impress Rubber Stamps. I used Fresh ink (also from Impress) to create the flowers.

I used tiny pearls for the centers of the flowers. The sentiment is from the Papertrey, Ink set called Green Thumb.

I know some of you out there are still fighting the snow and cold and thought this would help cheer you up! Spring really is right around the corner! =)

Thanks for stopping by!
