Happy Bee-Day

Hello. I'm playing in the sketch challenge over at The Paper Players today.

I recently picked up a new set of clear stamps at Michaels (their Recollections line) that mostly featured bugs. I was drawn to the bee and dragonfly in the set. Anywho, here is the bee stamped and embossed so that I could color it with Copics. I fussy-cut it out and popped it up on top of the honeycomb with foam tape.

The designer paper is from Moda Scrap, and the sentiment is from Woodware.

Thanks for popping in to take a look.

The fabulous layering of hexagons and the warm colours you've chosen make this one bee-auty of a card. Thanks for sharing it with us at The Paper Players.

Such a sweet birthday card, Laurie! The punny sentiment is so cute and the bee is terrific looking, especially popped up on the black honeycomb die cut. Thanks for joining in at the Paper Players this week!
