From me to you

Hello. I'm playing in the Freshly Made Sketch challenge today with some new dies and stamps from Gummiapan.

The heart tag and the notebook border are new as is the type background stamp.  I used it on the smaller heart dies (PTI) as well, using antique linen oxide ink. You'll have to enlarge the photo to see that.  The sentiment stamps on the heart tag are from The Stamp Market and the xoxo is from Whimsy stamps.

I used walnut stain distress ink on the edges of the type panel and added the small bow to the tag and called this done.

By the way, Color Me Nordic is a US based online store for Gummiapan dies, stamps and they're also carrying Craft Addiction UK dies too.

Thanks for stopping by.

Have a wonderful day - TSOT#694

Hi and welcome back to another sketch challenge over at Try a Sketch on Tuesday.

I went with a subtle take on the designer paper using a sky/cloud piece from the Craft Consortium.  The flower dies are from Gummiapan.  I used a bit of silver embossing powder around the holes in the flowers to give it a bit more dimension and interest.  Sentiment is from The Ton and the stitched cover die is from My Favorite Things.

Thanks for stopping by!

Spread your wings

Hi there. Playing in the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge over at The Paper Players today.

I went with the middle column across.

The dragonfly partial die is from Gummiapan.  I highlighted it with a bit of color from a Copic Marker that matched the cardstock I had on hand.

The sentiment is from My Favorite Things and the stitched dot rectangle dies are from Jillian Vance Designs.

Thanks for stopping in.

Start each day

I used the leaf 3D embossing folder from Tim Holtz and then added some paper piercing. I had an extra leaf left over from the first card I made and used it here.  Add the sentiment from TH Stampers Anonymous and a few gold pearls.  The brown gingham ribbon was found in my ribbon stash. I love how it works here.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hello

Hi everyone. I'm participating in the sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches and also adding this to the leaves challenge over at Just Us Girls.

The tag die is from Gummiapan. I made a background using distress inks and heavy-weight mixed media paper to create some fall leaf die cuts.  The dies are from Lawn Fawn.  The designer paper is from Moda Scrap. I ended up spritzing the leaves with some distress spritz and you can see it on the photo below, as it doesn't always photograph well.

Thanks for stopping by.

Get well soon

Hello. Playing in the Freshly Make Sketch challenge today with this get-well card.

I started with some rustic cream cardstock from Papertrey, Ink. The sentiment and coordinating die is from My Favorite Things.  I used an older embossing folder from Sizzix, which is a close match to the fig die from Simon Says Stamp. I paired it with a tag die (top cut-off) from Gummiapan.

Here is the sketch from FMS.

Thinking of you - TFC96

Hello! Welcome to another challenge over at The Flower Challenge blog.  Here is the card I created for this month's challenge of adding a stencil.

The flowers and sentiment are from The Stamp Market. I used a stencil to color the flowers, then cut them out using the coordinated dies.  The leaves on the tag are stenciled directly on it, then I arranged the flowers over them.   For the background, I used a dotted quilted stencil and some glossy stencil paste from Dreamweaver.   The tag die is from Gummiapan, and the tag reinforcer and ribbon are colored with a Copic marker.

Here is the cue card for this month’s challenge.
