Happy Birthday

Hello. I'm playing in a few challenges with this birthday card today.

I started off with the sketch over at Just add Ink.  The fern is a very old rubber stamp from the former Angel Company.  I stamped it in juniper dye ink from Simon Says Stamp.  The birthday sentiment is from Papertrey, Ink. I heat embossed it with alabaster embossing powder from Brutus Munroe.  The circle "31" is made using a jump ring and glossy accents over a section of a numbered dsp that I had in my stash.

Here are the challenges for this card.

Thanks for stopping in.

Happy Anniversary

Hi everyone! I found myself wanting to make a clean and simple card today and went with the sketch over at Clean and simple stamping. You can see it here.

Flowers and dies are from Avery Elle. Sentiment is from Winnie & Walter. The houndstooth background stamp is from My Favorite Things. Fresh ink in limeade used on it and MFT colorbox colors in gumdrop green and wild cherry used on the flowers and leaves.  Copic marker in G43 used on the white satin ribbon.

It's bright and festive in real life and I really like how this turned out! Thanks for stopping by!

CAS 282 -

Hey everyone! Here's my take on the clean and simple sketch #282.

Flower stamp is from Stampin Up! I did use some white embossing powder and heat embossed the flowers to make them stand out a bit.  Sentiment is from Verve.

The tag die is from papertrey, Ink and I added the green bakers twine for the background on the sketch. I did only three though as it looked better than what was called for.

Lastly, I used some foam tape to pop up the tag. I really kind of like how this turned out.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Anniversary wishes

Greetings everyone! Here is my entry for three challenges today.

The sketch is from Clean and Simple #281. Simon Says Stamps Wednesday challenge was for your project to be wedding/anniversary based and Less is more was all about using Metal.

Designer paper is from K&Company. I cut out the flowers using the flower die from Spellbinders. Then I sponged some lavender ink from Colorbox all over the edges. I added yellow metal brads for the center of the flower and then glued them down to the card.

Sentiment is from Papertrey, Ink. and that wonderful blueberry cardstock is from Bazzill. Ivory satin ribbon from my stash used behind the sentiment panel.

At the last minute I decided to add some leaves using the leaf punch from MS crafts.

Hope you all had a great weekend and thanks for popping in!

Celebrate

Hi everyone! Here's my take on this clean and simple stamping sketch seen here.

I just got the newest Polka Dot Parade #12 from Papertrey, Ink and put it to use on this card.

The candles are stamped in cherry red ink from MFT. Flames are stamped in versafine ink and then heat embossed so that I could color them with yellow Copic markers.

The word celebrate is from The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby). I used a piece of designer paper from scrap basket so I have no idea where it came from.

Added black grosgrain ribbon and decided to leave off the middle piece as the size of my ribbon wasn't wide enough to accommodate it.

Red button is from American Crafts and added a bit of red baker twine. The flag is cut from the pennant border from Verve.

I did use some foam tape to pop the panel up on my card base for this one. I like the dimension that it gives.

Well, that's it for today. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
