Red, white and blue birthday balloons

Hello and Happy Independence Day to all of us in the US.  Playing in two challenges today.  The theme over at The Paper Players in Celebration and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge is Red, White and Blue.

Balloon stencil is from Neat and Tangled. I used Hero Arts ink to sponge in the colors using a finger dauber. The strips and star stamps are from PTI, and I heat embossed with white embossing powder. Outlined the balloons using a Copic multi-liner pen for them to stand out a bit more. Birthday sentiment is from Frantic Stamper.

Happy 4th!

Awesome

Hello everyone. Today is my last guest designer post for Freshly Made Sketches for the month of June. As most of you know, FMS is one of the challenge blogs that I participate in pretty consistently, so it was an honor to be asked to be guest designer. Thanks to all the lovely ladies on the DT for having me!

Stamps and die are from Neat and Tangled. I used the shadow die as a mask in order to add some color to the back ground using distress oxide ink. Added some splatters, then add the word die and stamped the rest of the sentiment. Finished this off with some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and then found some glitter cardstock that went with the ink colors to add to the bottom. I did pop up that panel with some fun foam behind it for some added dimension. In real life this is pretty sparkly.

OK, that's it for today. Thanks for dropping by.

Birthday balloons

Hello. Playing in a few challenges today.

Balloons are made using a stencil from Neat and Tangled and Ranger Distress inks. Balloon strings are drawn on using a stardust gelly pen.  Birthday sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp. The little stars are from a package of sequins that I have in my stash. Green cardstock from MFT used as a card base. Kept this rather clean and simple to use as a masculine birthday card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Color challenge - kitchen

Hi everyone! Less is More color challenge this week is to create something that matches the color of your kitchen. Mine is blue with a gingham border above the white back splash.

Awesome die and outline are from Neat and Tangled.

The gingham grunge stamp is from My Favorite Things. I used Navy dye ink from Hero Arts (my new favorite inks) to match the blue in my kitchen.

Added a few mini self adhesive pearls onto the stars (included in the stamp set from Neat and Tangled) and then added this to a navy card base.

That's all for today. Thanks for popping by.
