Jolly Santa

Hello everyone! I got a few minutes to put this card together for this weeks Freshly Made Sketch #111.

Stamp is from Make it Crafty and colored with Copic's. I had already colored him and it was just sitting waiting to be made into a card. I used the layer behind him to simulate his belt on a larger dimension - really liked how it turned out!

When I first went to construct the belt, I pierced it to look like the holes in a belt but they weren't big enough. When I tried to make them bigger the cardstock kind of buckled the in middle (no pun intended) and I finally went with a white paint pen. Added the gold part at the right to look like part of his buckle.

Snowflake embossing folder is a 5x7 from Provo Craft. Santa and the snowflake back ground are both popped up using foam tape!

Love you

Hello all! Sharing another digi stamp card today! This one is going to make a cute anniversary card for DH in September!

Digi stamp is called geeky love by Make it Crafty. I colored them with Copic's and used a square nestie to cut it out.

The fishtail banners were cut out and then embossed to add some texture. Sentiment is from Verve and cut out using their label die. Added two tiny gold pearls for some bling and were done!

Jolly

Hi everyone. I had some spare time yesterday and got to play around and do some coloring on a few Christmas cards. Here's one that I used for the inspiration challenge over at SCS.

The challenge was to be inspired by a Chris Radko Christmas ornament and create a card around it.

I bought this stamp from Make it Crafty last year and every time I look at him I just smile. Here are all the colors of Copic markers that I used to color him up.

Once done coloring, I used the label 17 die from Spellbinders to cut it out and to create the black layer behind, which is hand cut.

Black satin ribbon used to create the double bow with an assist from the Bow Easy. Pure Poppy, black and white cardstock are all from Papertrey, Ink.

Thanks for stopping in.

Cheery Santa

Hello everyone! Here's a new stamp that I just "had" to have from Make It Crafty in Australia. I also used this in the Inspiration Challenge over at SCS today. Here's what inspired me: Santa ornament.

Santa was colored with Copic markers. I used the labels 17 die to cut him out and layered it with Black cardstock. I traced around the die and hand cut the black cardstock to get a smaller mat. The designer paper is actually digital that I printed out from a free online source.

The sentiment tag is done with the Martha Stewart cornice border punch.

Don'tcha just love the expression on this Santa"s face? He just made me smile when I came across it while surfing around the web.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!
