Happy Valentine's Day

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is designer choice challenge and it's Donna's call that we use Hearts.

I used Tumbling Hearts (1210-K) and stamped it using my misti on the upper half of a piece of cardstock. I did stamp it several time to get the red ink really saturated on the paper. The sentiment is computer generated.

There's a new challenge every week over at  The House That Stamps Built, and you don't have to use Repeat Impressions stamps to link up or win. Also, for my blog readers: Enjoy the 10% discount code to the Repeat Impressions Store posted on the sidebar.

One lucky person will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate on the first Wednesday of every month – Good luck!

Also, check out our Rock Star blogs to see what they did with the challenge.

Thinking of you

Hey there. Here is my take on this weeks Freshly Made Sketch.

Azalea is from Altenew. I stamped it using Altenew's Green fields and Red cosmo inks. Love how it turned out. I also bought the coordinating dies and used them to cut the leaves and azalea out. I popped up the flower using foam tape so that I could stick the leaf branches behind it.

I used the stripe stamp set from Simon Says Stamp to create the background. I used the two lightest inks in the pink set at the top and just plain black for the 3 line one. Sentiment also comes in the stamp set.

Doodlebug matte candy dots used below the sentiment for a bit of interest.

Also adding this into the Anything goes challenge over at Simon Says Stamp.

Thanks for stopping by.

Papertrey July Blog Hop Challenge

Hi everyone! The picture below inspired me to play along this month with the Papertrey, Ink blog hop. I liked the colors in the back ground and the patterned paper found in the picture.

I used the new perfect pairing PTI sentiment stamp that was just released. The misti was used to get it positioned exactly where I wanted it.

Designer paper is from Kaisercraft and vintage cream plus scarlet jewel is from PTI.

Now the butterfly. It is a chipboard laser die cut from Bo Bunny. I colored it with the black Ciao Copic marker. To get the shine, I added some glossy accents, let it dry and then bent the wings a bit. It's attached with a clear 3D dot.

ETA: Forgot to add this to SSS sparkle and shine challenge this week. Doing so now.

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping in.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone! Here is one of the cards I made for today!

Stamps are from the former Angel Company.

I stamped the bunny in hybrid black ink from MFT and then colored with Copic markers. Took some cotton off the end of a Q-Tip and made his tail.

Yellow houndstooth is a stamp from MFT that I used with my MISTI (love that tool) and light yellow ink from Studio G.

The burlap embossing folder from Taylored Expressions is used on the fishtail banner.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter.

Entering this into the Friday Mashup.
