Just a note

Hello. Playing in the Freshly Made Sketch #618 challenge on this very cold January day.

The leaf sprig die is from Gummianpan, and I highlighted the leaves a little bit with a G24 Copic Marker. I used microdots to adhere it to the linen card base. The "just a note" die was cut three times, stacked, and glued onto a velum outline.

The little dragonfly is from Impression Obsession. I added three tiny fairy drops from Memory Box to balance the card out.

Stay warm and safe out there! Thanks for stopping by.

Gnome birthday

Hello. Playing in The Paper Players sketch challenge today.

I just got a lot of new background stamps from Echo Park as they were having a huge warehouse sale. The houndstooth background was one of them.

The Gnome die is a recent purchase from Gummianpan. I cut him out of white cardstock, then colored him up with Copic markers.  Background embossing folder is from SU and the birthday sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.

I used a bunch of distress inks and oxides to blend out the tag and took creative licensing with the sentiment placement.

Thanks for stopping by.

Just a note to say hello

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge over at Less Is More.

This beautiful lavender die is from Gummianpan.  The sentiment is form Studio Calico. I used Copic markers to color the lavender.

Here is the cue card.

Thinking of you

Hello. Playing in The Paper Players clean and simple challenge of don't bug me today.

I'm CASEing the fabulous Chrissie Stokes, and how she added gilding flakes to the dragonfly with this one.

The sentiment is from Recollections. Dragonfly die is from Gummianpan and its wings are colored with Indigo blu luscious pigment powder in out of the blu. I did add silver gilding flakes onto the wings and the body, based on Chrissie's video tutorial.

I used fun foam on the back of the rectangle to pop this up off the card base.

Thanks for stopping by.
