Snow globe

Hello and Happy New Year. We are starting off this week with a designer Choice Challenge. It's Esther's turn and she wants to see snow globes. Here is what I did with it.

The green tree's are a cover die. I sponged on some green ink to the trees and left the outside alone. Ran a piece of white cardstock through the Swiss dots embossing folder (also the stamped globe) so that it appears to be snowing.

I used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut out the snow globe. The base is colored with Copics.

Stamps used on this card:
8901-L, Snow Globe
2709-I, Large Pine Forest
8611-E, Thinking

So, what are you waiting for?!

Why not play along with us and start stamping up a card now. We can’t wait to see your creations!
Don’t forget… Take part in any of our challenges, the more you play along, the more chances you have to win! Each submission enters you in the drawing for our gift certificate. And you don’t always have to use our stamps in your creations, but we will reward you if you do. Each submission using a Repeat Impressions stamp will earn you an additional entry in the drawing!

Also, check out our Rock Star blogs to see what they did with the challenge.

Laurie, I love your take on the challenge this week! Such a cool idea to create a mini snow globe forest in the middle of a larger forest! Beautiful card!!

This is gorgeous, Laurie! The way you lined up the bg trees with the snow globe trees brings the entire design together and keeps the eye flowing. I love the swiss dot ef detail. This is a great card!

Very cool! I love how the images in the globe reflect the trees in the background! And the "snow" in the globe is fabulous!

What a beautiful "woodsy" card - love the large pine trees on the outside and the beautiful snowbank you created in the snowglobe. Great job.
