Sail away with me

Hi everyone! I'm not going to have time this week to participate in any challenges until maybe Sunday. So, here's a card I made a while ago and never got around to posting.

Stamps are from Gina K Designs. The sail boat is colored with Copic's.

To create the sea I sponged on several different colors of blue and turquoise inks using a finger dauber. I tore a piece of printer paper so that I could make some "waves" while sponging on the ink. I finally added some foam on the water using Copic Opaque white and a white sharpie paint pen.

Sky is also sponged using Memento sky ink and a finger dauber. A light touch with the inking around the Picasso stencil cloud was used to make the clouds very subtle in the back ground.

We are off in the RV for a weekend of camping. Thanks for stopping by!

Goodness, Laurie, if you put a frame around this and hung it on your wall, it would look like a painting!! It's truly expert daubing and a very realistic scene!! Have a wonderful time camping!! Hugs, Darnell
