LIM one layer foliage

Hi everyone! Got up this morning determined to get some stamping in while do my Sunday chores. Here is what I came up with for the one layer foliage challenge over at Less is More.

The stamp is an old one from the former Angel company. I stamped it in versafine and then used clear embossing powder to heat emboss it. Colored with Copic's in YR21, YR24 and E37. I think it looks pretty darn realistic to an actual oak leaf as they begin to turn.

Sentiment is from Verve. I used rustic white cardstock from PTI for the one layer base. Rounded the corners using the 1/4 end of the Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper.

Here are two pictures of Mt. Rainier from our road trip yesterday. The weather was gorgeous and people were out in droves! I don't think I've ever seen the National Park that full! I posted more over on Facebook but wanted to share a few here too!

Thanks for stopping by!

Laurie, your leaf is so well defined and beautifully coloured too.

Beautiful card to go along with beautiful pictures - love that leaf - and in fact I think i still have it. It truly looks like an oak leaf.
