Peony birthday card

Good morning! Happy Memorial Day. As I sat here typing up the title to this post, I decided not to address the two challenges in the title as it looked a bit funny.  Might as well just keep it simple!

The peony stamp is from Papertrey, Ink. I stamped it in pink lemonade from Fresh Ink and then followed with the outline of black. I of course had to stamp this a couple of times to get it to line up. Sentiment is also from PTI.

Black pearls are from Queen & Co. The embossing folder I used on the pink carstock is new to me and is from Paper Wishes. The pink cardstock is also from HOTP or paper wishes.

I used rustic white cardstock from PTI for this card instead of the normal white. It's nice to see bits of flecks and fibers woven into the paper.

This is going into the following challenges:
The Paper Players - Sketch Challenge
Addicted to CAS - texture

Such a pretty card Laurie. It is so clean and simple. I love the sketch you used.

Hi Laurie - love the geometric design of the embossed panel, and the touch of black really makes the detail "pop". Gorgeous shade of pink too!
Thank you so much for playing along at ATCAS - Sylvia.
