Hello! I hope everyone had a great week! I'm so looking forward to this weekend! I named this new card "Blue" - because I was stuck on what to really call it. I would really appreciate some suggestions! I guess I just ran out of creativity when coming up with a name on this one!
Designer paper is from Basic Grey Wisteria paper pad. The Blues within the flowers matched so closely with the Copic marker I picked to color the butterfly. Circle nesties used to cut it out and I popped it up with foam tape on the black scalloped circle.
The big scallops along the bottom are cut out with cookie cutter dies from Quickutz. Blue self adhesive pearls from Kaisercraft added to the give it some bling!
As you can tell, I added a white scalloped liner to the inside of the black card base. I did stamp another butterfly and added a birthday sentiment to the inside, but didn't take a picture for you to see. All stamps are from The Angel Company.
Have a wonderfully creative weekend!

This is so pretty, Laurie! Love the butterfly in blue, and that paper is wunnerful :)
Pretty! I don't know about a title... blue fits it color wise... but it is so serene and calm... so not blue feeling wise! Love the pearls too!
It's beautiful...and blue fits it well enough. :)
Beautiful! The blue is so pretty!
Very nice - love all the scallops and I think "Blue" is a perfect name for this card. Don't you just love the butterfly??
