Sparklers

Hi everyone! Here's my 4th of July card that I'm giving to my Dad and Stepmom on Saturday.

Card base is white, with layers of red and blue - duh - how could you not doing anything else?

I found the cool ribbon at Micheal's for $1 and thought how perfect it would look with this stamp. I used my Bow- easy to make the bow. The image was stamped using markers and the huffing method. I added some sparkles with a stardust pen, which is really hard to see in the picture above, but IRL looks cool!

We are heading out to my Dad's for a BBQ on Saturday, and he's asked that I bring potato salad "just like Mom used to make." I guess my Stepmom isn't as good a cook as my Mom used to be. I actually was rather touched by his request! Between my Mom and Grandmother, they were the best cooks and they sure made sure that I learned a thing or two. I just wish I had the time to cook more than often that I do. =)

Have fun and safe Independence day!

Supplies:
Re, white and blue card stock
Le Plume markers
Stamp - Lizzie Anne Designs
Ribbon
Stardust gel pen
