Oh my gosh! I totally forgot to post this card prior to Mother's day! Well, I did send it on to my stepmom, (who's really not legally my stepmom) since my mom passed away two years ago. My how time flies!
I stamped the flower onto the designer paper and then cut them all out. Using a normal hole punch, I punched the center of the flower and ran green ribbon through it. Tie a knot for the center and cut the left over ribbon to resemble a leaf. I also bent the flower petals a bit so that they looked like real petals. I added dots around the edge of the card using a white gel pen. The card measures 5 x 5.
Supplies:
Paper - Mimi from The Angel Company
Stamps - Flowr from Petal pack and the sentiment is from the Angel Company
Green satin ribbon - TAC
White and black card stock
Have a fun memorial day weekend!

LOVE the dark edges and the multi-layers of flowers. Uber-cool!
I love what you did with the knot...it looks just like a flower and the ribbon for leaves...again looks just like leaves. Fabulous :)
I love this card and the great use of ribbon for the flower centers and leaves. I look at your blog everyday and am amazed by the work you do. Angel#0706 Susan
