Anything goes challenge - lucky you

It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week it's time for our ever popular "Anything goes" challenge.

I decided to get a jump on the St. Patrick's Day Holiday. I used a heart die and cut it out of green cardstock 4 times and put it together to resemble a four leaf clover. Stamped the lucky and you in green cardstock and then added some small gems.

You Cling Set can be found here:http://www.repeatimpressions.com/

So, what are you waiting for?!

Why not play along with us and start stamping up a card now. We can’t wait to see your creations!
Don’t forget… Take part in any of our challenges, the more you play along, the more chances you have to win! Each submission enters you in the drawing for our gift certificate. And you don’t always have to use our stamps in your creations, but we will reward you if you do. Each submission using a
Repeat Impressions stamp will earn you an additional entry in the drawing!

Also, check out our Rock Star blogs to see what they did with the challenge.

Party till the cows come home

Hello. Using the sketch over at The Paper Players as a jumping off point in the TGIC Challenge of masking.

Stamps are from Your Next Stamp. I used Inkadinkado masking paper to mask the cow. Colored with Copic's. Inside message says "party till the cows come home." yes, I just had to add the googlie eyes for a fun factor. Thank goodness I had enough!

I turned the sketch on its side to accommodate the number of my cows. Designer wood paper is from Moda Scrap that I just got from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

That's it for today. See ya, gotta get back to my household chores.

never change who you are

Hello, playing last minute in the Freshly Made Sketch challenge.

Petunia stamp is from Pretty Pink Posh. It's stamped in versamark, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, heat set, then water colored with Arteza markers.

Sentiment is from Simon Says Stamps. Banner die is from MFT.

The background panel is done using shaded lilac distress oxide ink. I made a spritz of watered down picket fence paint and spritzed it on to create the speckled back ground. Added a couple of drops of white Fabrika Decoru for added interest.

Also adding this into the Simon Says Stamp weekly Wednesday challenge - make your own background.

That's it for today.

Inspiration palette - just because

It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week we were challenged to use the following inspirational photo.

Aren't these crocuses awesome? They are colored with Zig real brush markers.

As you can see I chose to go with the color palette on the side. Since its a bit early for Hydrangeas, I decided to go with the flower that is always early and tells me spring is right around the corner.

Sentiment is from Wplus9 and the flower stamps and dies are from Avery Elle.

Sky blue memento ink is sponged on to the white card base and then the flower and leaves are popped up using foam tape. Gingham and the polka dot designer paper is from A*Muse Studio. Added the three small dew drops to finish off the card with a bit of interest.
