with sympathy

Hi everyone. I decided to try my hand at the Retro Rubber sketch challenge before the time ran out.

The main panels are stamped using an old wood mounted stamp from Memory Box called spring branch. It must be at least 10+ years old. To color it, I used Tombow markers and huffed on it to get a good impression before cutting it down into squares.

Sentiment is a new one from My Favorite Things. Since this is a sympathy card, I kept it clean and simple.

Birthday Wishes

Hello. Playing in the Retro Rubber Challenge of Spring Flowers today.

This stamp is at least 20 years old, if not older. It's from Great Impressions stamps. I used prisma color pencils and gamsol to color it in. The birthday sentiment is from Technique Tuesday.

Thanks for stopping by.

Thank you

Hi all - decided to play in the Retro Rubber Tic-Tac-Toe challenge and the Allsorts challenge of Spring.

The butterfly is from Stampin Up! The year on the stamp says 2000. I stamped it in Versafine, heat embossed it, colored it with Copics, then fussy cut it out.

The embossing folder in the background is from Honey Bee Stamps. I used a small blending brush and ballet slippers ink from Pink Fresh to color the blossoms. Added small yellow rhinestones for the centers.

Sentiment is from My Favorite Things and the eucalyptus cardstock is from Concord & 9th.  I ended up using the center row down and the bottom row across on the TTT diagram below.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Birthday - One layer card

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge over at Less Is More.

The flower stamp is from Impress Cards and crafts. The birthday sentiment is from Jaded Blossom.

Here is the cue card.

Please visit the Simply Less is More BLOG to see what wonderful creations the design team has come up with.

ETA: I'm also adding this into the Retro Rubber challenge of anything goes. The stamp I used is a combo stamp (the grass is the main stamp and the flower is on one end of it) and it's at least 10 years old.
