This is a digital image from Power Poppy. Colored with Copic's. Sentiment is from Altenew. I had the blue plaid scrapbook paper in my Christmas stash and finally put it to use for this card.

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a good week! Mine was super busy and left little time for creating in the studio. At least I managed to get one card done today!

Stamps are from Papertrey, Ink called Gracious Vases! I just ordered the supersized version of this set with dies to match! I can't wait to get them!

The vase is colored with Copic's, cut out and then adhered to the card using wacky tack. Orchid is lightly colored with a pink using the colorless blender.

Designer paper is from Daisy D's and I used some really dark gray cardstock to layer/outline it so that it stuck out a bit. I colored the white tiny satin ribbon with a Copic that matched the mat on the main image.

I hate making sympathy cards, but I needed to replenish my stash.

Valentine challenge

Hey everyone! We're having a Valentines challenge over at Victorine Originals stamp blog. Pop on over and participate and enter for a chance to win some new rubber!

Here's my card.

All stamps are from Victorine Originals. Chicken is colored with Copic markers. Circle nesties used to cut out the main image and the sentiment.

Designer paper is from Daisy D's that I've been hording for a long time! Gray cardstock is from DCWV, black used to layer. I added some self adhesive black pearls to the corner to anchor everything down.

Queen Anne's lace

Hi everyone! I'm off on a camping trip and have scheduled this to post in my absence. Here's a card I did for a challenge to scrunch, fold, wrinkle etc. your ribbon.

The ribbon is actually seam binding that I colored with E50 Egg shell and then scrunched it up after it dried a bit.

Stamp is from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous line and stamped in Vintage Cream ink from Palette. Cut with the oval nesties and then layered with an ivory scalloped oval. The kraft cardstock on the left is embossed with the linen embossing plate from PTI. Designer paper is from Daisy D's that I've had in my stash for a while. I have got to start using more designer paper - it's coming out of my @**, er I mean ears! Sorry for the profanity! But it's true - I have got so much of it and I really don't use it! What is wrong with me? Am I a hoarder?

Card Sketch Tuesday #160

Hello and Happy Holidays! Here is this weeks sketch!

Measurements:
Card base 4.25 x 5.5, Designer paper 4 x 5.25, Image panel 3 x 3.75 (with a 1/16 mat), Back panel 2 x 4 (border punch used) sentiment done with window word punch.

Designer paper is from Daisy D's and the colors in it really work well with the image that I stamped. I used markers to color the image and did the huff method to reactivate the ink. The sentiment stamp is one that I designed myself and had Vicki over at Victorine Originals make up for me. I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black and then punched it out with the window word punch.

The Martha Stewart doily border punch was used on the white cardstock and I added two different shades and width of blue grosgrain ribbon to cover up the raw edges. It turned out to be a very femine card that I will use for someone's Birthday.

This will be my last sketch design for this year! I have a few more Christmas cards/projects to show you this week prior to the big day! I hope that everyone is not too bogged down with last minute preperations and gift buying! Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to let me know what you think!

Card Sketch #14 - Fast and Simple

Here's a very simple sketch for you all that can be done quick. You can always embellish this further, add more designer paper, etc. But, sometimes quick and easy takes the day!


Stamps are Curls & swirls from The Angel Company. I stamped the largest swirl on cream cardstock using Palette jardin moss and then colored in the lines with my green glaze gel pen. Bazzill Basic green cardstock was used to mat the two strips of swirls. The designer paper in the background is the Romance Collection from Daisy D's. The Thank You sentiment is also from TAC.
