Thanks for the lift

Hello.  Playing in the Freshly Made Sketch challenge today.

I've had this scalloped square cut and sitting in my UCB box for a while now and thought it would work well for the sketch. It's a bit bigger than the sketch calls for, but I was bound and determined to use it. I used tiny foam squares to pop it up off of the main image to give it a bit of dimension/3D look.

Dragon and friends stamp is from C.C. Designs and colored with Copic's.You could use so many different sentiments for this stamp...thanks for the lift, you lift me up, Mother's day...etc.

That is it for today. Thanks for stopping by.

hello

Hi everyone. Here is what I did with this weeks sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches.

I kept this very clean and simple and let the stamped image be the main focal point.

Stamp is from CC Designs and colored with Copic's.

Sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp and the blue gingham paper is really old from A*Muse Studio.

Tiny white satin ribbon hides the seam and that tiny bow gave me fits, but finally got it.

It's anything goes for challenges over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, so this is going there, too.

That's it for today. Thanks for stopping in.

CC Designs trade

I got these really cute designs from a fellow stamping angel over on ASB (Thanks T. Joy). We actually traded CC Designs for some House Mouse stamp designs that I had. Anyway, here is one of the cards I created with one of the images I received. This was also one of the sketch challenges and a take #5 challenge from ASB - I just had to combine them! Trudy did a great job on both of these - and you can view them here and here!

Supplies:
Stamps - CC Designs
Paper - Paper Pizazz (HOTP) and solid green bazzill
Ink - Palette Noir
Green grosgrain ribbon
Colored with Copic Ciao Markers
