Christmas stamps

Hello. Playing in the Freshly Made Sketch challenge today.

I used the Christmas postage stamp washi tape from 49th and Market to create the strips and layered it with red cardstock. The sentiment is from the former Raisin Boat company. I used the largest postage stamp die from Unity to showcase the stamp strips for this holiday card.

No stamping card

Hello everyone. It’s time for a new sketch challenge over at Try Stamping On Tuesdays.

So, this card uses a few rub on's from 49th and Market. I added them onto a piece of fabric (muslin) and shredded a few of the edges to give it a raw edge.  I cut out a few leaves out of white cardstock, colored them with Copic's and used that for the scalloped edge.

Here is the sketch for you to use as inspiration, and please Link up here> Try Stamping On Tuesdays.

Sending big hugs

Hello. Playing in the inspiration board challenge over at Just add ink today.

The big flower spray is from Pink Fresh Studio. Used the stencils and Simon Says Stamp pawsitively saturated ink to color it.  The sentiment is from The Ton.

Background is created using the same ink, and a Script background stamp from My Favorite Things. Heat embossed the script handwriting with clear EP and then blended ink over it. Added some splatter and some rub on's from 49th and Market to complete the card. Might need to make the photo bigger to see the details.

Spread your wings

Hello. Playing in the Monday Simon Says Stamp challenge on Saturday. They are wanting "things with wings'' and here is what I came up with.

I created the background color using Pan-Pastels. I was playing around with a bunch I've had in my stash for a while and this is one of the results.

Washi tape is from 49th and Market. I also used a larger roll of tape to cut out the butterfly. The die is an old one from Memory Box. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things.

Have a great weekend.

Thinking of you

Hi all - Playing in this week Freshly Made Sketch #534, which I ended up turning on it's side.

The postage stamps are washi tape from 49th and Market. I had them on the card base by themselves and they got lost. So I decided to cut it out and layer it with a gold cardstock so they would pop out more. Carta bella leaf stem is cut twice and glued together to be a bit longer and covered up the splice with the butterfly. It's an old one from Memory Box.  Sentiment is from Altenew.

Happy Anniversary

Hello. Playing in the sketch challenge over at The Paper Players today.

This uses up some of my designer paper from 49th and Market called sweet reflections. The paper pack also comes with a few laser-cut pop out flowers that I added onto the middle panel. I decided that I don't need to hoard onto anything anymore.  Sentiment is from MFT. I also added some splatters in white gouache and faded lilac distress ink.
