Spring flowers

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is Designer Choice and Joy wants to see spring flowers.

I love the color combo of Navy and yellow, but navy is so so hard to photograph well.  I used the daisy flower stamp and lined it up to create this border. Framed it with strips of navy cardstock and added the happy birthday sentiment on the bottom. Last minute addition of pearls for the center of the flowers finishes this off.

There's a new challenge every week over at  The House That Stamps Built, and you don't have to use Repeat Impressions stamps to link up or win. Also, for my blog readers: Enjoy the 10% discount code to the Repeat Impressions Store posted on the sidebar.

One lucky person will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate on the first Wednesday of every month – Good luck!

Also, check out our Rock Star blogs to see what they did with the challenge.

Love navy and yellow too, and daisy is such a pretty flower especially for this challenge. Great job.

Beautiful and striking spring card, like the pearl centers to your flowers!

I thought this one must be yours when I saw it in the album. It's so simple and pretty. I wonder why dark card stocks photograph like this? I always have the same trouble.

I have the same problem with photographing navy -- it never looks as good in a picture as it does in real life! I do love yellow and blue together, and your card is so pretty!
