The most wonderful time

Hello! I'm sitting at home waiting for the clinic to call me back. I have a very swollen face from a tooth that is acting up. Hurts like the dickens and the dentist won't see me until the swelling goes down. Pft! Health care is so frustrating right now!

Anyway, enough of my rant, here is my take on the CAS Christmas card challenge over at The Paper Players.

Stamps are from Verve. I stamped the mittens in versafine ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder so that I could color them. I used B93 and B95 Copic markers.

The heart was stamped in white, but it was really faint. Decided to add a bit of fine white embossing powder to make it stand out and give it a bit of shine.

Sentiment is from the set. All paper is from Papertrey, ink.

I think this is as clean and as simple as you could get, huh? Thanks for stopping by.

Love your sweet card, Laurie! So sorry to hear about your tooth...sounds terrible. Keep us posted. Will send up some prayers for quick healing. I had an abscess like that one time and ended up in the ER. Take care!

Darling card - blue and white always make such great color combination, I think anyway. P.S. I too hope you are feeling better quickly. :-)

Such a pretty card with the blue mittens, I don't think I could concentrate with a tooth ache but you sure did a great job. Hope you feel better soon.
